Edit: And gas would be 14p/kWh.

2 months ago - I spoke to a CS agent on the phone who initiated my switch which was delayed until my fix with So.Energy ended and then he made it so that i went directly onto V3. I made it very clear i wanted the 11p cap and he understood and done the magic.

I posted here but had doomsayers saying CS agents are wrong as usual, but here we are!

The Tracker tariff is fixed for a year. All renewals are on the tariff version in force on the renewal date.

I spoke with a manager from Octopus last week after being contacted regarding a complaint I have in for Tracker.

It was confirmed by him after reading out a memo that has been circulated internally that both Tracker and Agile caps will be honoured for the term of contract (12mths I believe), as a result it has brought closure to my complaint with Octopus having now put things right. So at least from what I have been told they will be honouring the caps for the duration of contract.

However with news that the October Ofgem cap may be frozen or some other interventions it is getting more difficult to know what is the right thing to do.
