A reasonable option. I'm happy with risking tracker gas and Agile for electric. In Merseyside so one of the pricier regions and averaged just under 17p for Elec and 5.8p for gas over the past year. Last winter wasn't great for wind, hopefully this year will be better to pull that down a bit more.0 -
Gas is below 5p/kWh for the weekend. Not that we'll need much, with the weather that's forecastMy last two Tracker gas bills have used averaged / profiled daily consumption, not actual smart meter readings. I'm seeing smart meter data in the Octopus app so I guess there have been occasional half-hour slots missing from the data pulled by Octopus. Again, no big issue over the summer but could be a problem when we get into the winter.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. 2.72kWp PV facing SSW installed Jan 2012. 11 x 247w panels, 3.6kw inverter. 34 MWh generated, long-term average 2.6 Os.Not exactly back from my break, but dipping in and out of the forum.Ofgem cap table, Ofgem cap explainer. Economy 7 cap explainer. Gas vs E7 vs peak elec heating costs, Best kettle!0 -

In practice, any missing usage data will result in the whole month's usage being apportioned.1 -
I asked via twitter about this. I said all my half hour readings were there so why would it be smoothed out across the month. They said something about as well as half hour readings they get a midnight daily reading and that is sometimes missing. Presumably we can't tell via apps if that is missing. Anyway they pulled readings and redid the month to find it would cost me a few pence more so left it as was.1

Yeah, that's the thing; at this time of year my gas use is so low that there's only going to be pence in it, in either direction. If it was December through February, I'd be asking to have the data pulled too.N.
