Hope you experts can help. My tracker ends mid June. Am I better signing up to stay on tracker, which would be the current April v2, or waiting to see if there’s better tracker prices in July. Or can I switch from April v2 to the July tracker if it’s better, covering the best of both options?0

You can switch between trackers so if you sign up to April now then you can switch to July later if its better.2

My April '24 tracker runs out in 7 days. Had to call Octopus to switch to what looks like the April '25 v2 (Silver-25-04-15) tracker. Trying to do this online didnt work, tracker wasnt an option that I could switch to.Duggo said:Hope you experts can help. My tracker ends mid June. Octopus make a big thing of having a 'transparent formula' for tracker charging yet I havent been able to find that formula. Is the formula fixed for each term of a tracker contract ? and where could I find that formula to better compare tracker versions ?1 -

You should have received an email notifying you that the end of your fixed-term was approaching. entitled 'FYI: Your fixed term is coming to an end' (in my case, it arrived 49 days from the end); in it, there's a link to click to renew Tracker, which is what I used, and received confirmation of the new tariff details by email, in next to no time - quick and easy.SpringDawn said:

Yes, as far as I can see, today is the highest since April 4th - for me, April 2024 v1, 4.95p/kWh.QrizB said:SNIPUnrelated, I've noticed that Tracker gas prices have been drifting up recently. They're back above 5p/kWh for me.
Wholesale gas prices have been rising since the start of May.

One of the terminals in Norway are in maintenance mode today and tomorrow, pushing prices up and Putin not helping.SJMALBA said:

Tomorrow's electricity price is the lowest in a long time - for my energy region, April 2024 v1, it's 11.91p/kWh.
Even on the much more expensive April 2025 v2, it's 14.16p/kWh
Given all the negative wholesale pricing through tomorrow, presumably, Agile's going to be good?0 -
