Thanks, I wasn't sure from the wording of your previous post whether the T&Cs had changed but they haven't; that's the same as when I checked them for being moved to Dec 23 tariff, and how I understood it to work thereafter. Goodo!BootsMullery said:From Tracker Q&A's on the website:-"When you sign up to Tracker, the formula we use to calculate Tracker prices and the daily standing charge will remain the same over a 12 month period. The 12 months fixed for formula and SC's overrides the 3 monthly reviews - but only for 12 months from date of signing?Telegraph Sam

The quarterly reviews are used to bring out new versions of the tariff. When your tariff expires, then you'll need to go onto the current version or switch to a different (non-Tracker) one.Telegraph_Sam said:The 12 months fixed for formula and SC's overrides the 3 monthly reviews - but only for 12 months from date of signing?

@ArcherychickI tried to make process documents a condition of resolution because it became such a bizarre back-and-forth I felt fairly confident that even feeble Ofgem would not find in their favour. They kept offering me more and more £s to back down but I just wanted staff to be trained properly. It's kind of basic to have process documents that are updated now and again.
Nope, this is my experience too. Even at complaint escalation phase I was explaining to them how the tracker tariff worked.
It really was excruciating and exhausting. I gave up in the end.1 -
My experience, too, multiple times... from CSAs to senior management, utterly clueless, and seemingly more interested in fobbing customers off, with a litany of nonsensical/irrelevant explanations, false assurances that the problems have been resolved, so are you happy for the complaint to be closed etc., rather that actually sorting things, so, unsurprisingly, it's the same frustrating and exasperating 'merry-go-round' each time a new problem arises (which is an increasingly frequent occurrence!).stripling said:@ArcherychickI tried to make process documents a condition of resolution because it became such a bizarre back-and-forth I felt fairly confident that even feeble Ofgem would not find in their favour. Customers giving up is what they seem to want...?

No panels and no batteries, but came off elec tracker when they move me over to Dec 23 in Feb. Gas is still on tracker.
Yes, my tracker says 15 Feb 25 is the expiry date and so far this has been kept to.
Is tracker worth it now? Probably not, and especially looking at the June rates. All good things come to an end. Here's hoping that Agile keeps playing nicely (saved around £80 since 15 Feb, since I moved elec to Agile).

I think it is, we will need to see what happens when the next price cap changes but the daily rates are way below the flexible price. In the summer months it ultimately doesn’t make much £ difference though!PennineAcute said:No panels and no batteries, but came off elec tracker when they move me over to Dec 23 in Feb. @PennineAcute. Your comparisons and savings calculations are as against Flex Octopus? and not Agile as tends to be my default.
I agree that gas in summer is usuaĺly not worth getting steamed up about. For myself - panels, no batteries - Tracker Dec 2023 has been slightly ahead of Agile for some months now so I don't feel inclned to seek changes just at present. Feb 2025 could however see a change in the scriptTelegraph Sam

Last month, I paid 57p for the gas I used, and another £8.52 in standing charges. So even wild swings in gas prices isn't going to make that much of a difference with current summer time usage. The real savings will kick in over winter as long as the average unit cost is below 5p/kWh.Archerychick said:

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

The £80 savings I have quoted is compared to elec Tracker Dec 2023. My SVT savings are in the hundreds.
So for clarity, I have saved £85 since 15 Feb, comparing Agile to Tracker Dec 23.
EditMaking good use of the negative prices, this is my current savings (bottom right hand corner)
