I can get various views of energy used / consumption but nothing that shows energy exported. Could you perhaps let us see a screenshot?Telegraph Sam

It probably hasn’t gone live yet. Can take a while. Over a year so far in my case, and counting………Telegraph_Sam said:I can get various views of energy used / consumption but nothing that shows energy exported. Could you perhaps let us see a screenshot?0 -
So do you go by what is in the monthly statement instead?Telegraph Sam

Not even that I’m afraid. They pay up quarterly for the FIT payments on the amount generated, along with payments at a notional 50% at around 5p per kWh. So far there hasn’t been one single payment of the promised 15p actual export rate. Despite promise after promise.Telegraph_Sam said:So do you go by what is in the monthly statement instead?0 -
I thought that the export credits total would appear as a deduction on the monthlly bill.Telegraph Sam

Possibly, though I'd expect them to be shown with the other FIT payments. Not on my bills though. I honestly believe that they have no means of correcting the position on my account - for whatever reason - but nobody's prepared to admit it. Every complaint starts off incredibly helpfully and positively - before going to sleep a month or so later. We'll see what the Energy Ombudsman can do as soon as the requisite 8 weeks are up on the latest complaint.Telegraph_Sam said:I thought that the export credits total would appear as a deduction on the monthlly bill.0 -
In your case unlike mine you are chasing the main FIT generation payments also. If my experience turns out to be no better than yours I can do a simple DIY calculation of the value of the Total Annual Imports figure and deduct that from my payment. With explanation of course. I get a feeling that the fact that this a " beta " product, as they say, is at the root of it, and they just haven't got the bugs sorted as yet.Telegraph Sam

The FIT payments are coming in just fine. It’s only the export payments that aren’t. That’s why I’ve not been pushing harder, because the sums involved are relatively small by comparison with the 72p or so per kWh coming in from the generation.Telegraph_Sam said:In your case unlike mine you are chasing the main FIT generation payments also. Have you got an export MPAN yet? Once Octopus have that, and have "enrolled" it then you should see the export tariff next to your import tariff. On the web page ..Telegraph_Sam said:I can get various views of energy used / consumption but nothing that shows energy exported. Could you perhaps let us see a screenshot?
And under "My energy" the export readings shown as "Electricity export".0 -
Yes the two screens are the same as mine - EXCEPT that in BOTH cases it says View meter reading history and Export is nowhere to be found.
Whilst on the topic it would be interesting to know where Doc_N gets his FIT generation credits from. Seems to be an extremely good rate. Did someone say that you can no longer join an FIT scheme, that FIT's had been replaced by less favourable SEG's??Telegraph Sam
