To avoid the possibility of being kicked off tracker I had a gas smart meter fitted last December. Apart from a couple of months it’s still averaged though. It doesn’t bother me as it makes little difference.

As I understand it, averaging can work for or against you (correct?)  Against that would have  to be weighed that taking and sending daily readings would be quite a hassle
Just got last months bill through, and gas has been averaged over the month. The algorithm says I used ~0.5kWh per day, when in fact I had used ~3kWh on just 6 days. 5 of those days, the price was relatively high (4.2-4.35p). The averaged price (4.14p),  means I actually came out better off. But at a total cost of 60p, the difference is trivial. Still, better than the SVR rate at 5.4p, so I'm not complaining.

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I've clicked on My Energy and the page that comes up is My Energy Insights. This shows my electricity and gas consumption over various time periods, and what  has been billed. But no reference that I can see to Export or the Outgoing Fixed account. Is it just a matter of time for the wheels to turn?

If you are talking about the number 1 in a red circle, that is the badge for 1,000 posts.

Even though your caption / label says "First Post" - in addition to being "Photogenic". Evidence? :)

OK, I got it wrong. It is a badge awarded for making your first post. Everyone gets one when they have made their first post. (Not MY caption / label, nothing to do with me)
Just like a similar one with 1k in it is a badge awarded for making 1,000 posts.
Go to your profile, where it shows a few badges, click on show all and you can see all of the fabulous badges that you have been awarded for certain achievements. You have 17 badges which means........absolutely nothing.

But it still doesn't say what you / I have to do to merit "photogenic". Or "part of the furniture"

As far as I know, there is not a list of meanings posted anywhere but I believe "part of the furniture" is awarded to people who have been members for a long (don't know how long) time and "photogenic is awarded when you add a profile picture, "name dropper" is awarded when you make a post containing a name "tag" like @Telegraph_Sam.

Found a bit of a list here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/badges

"part of the furniture" = Nobody remembers a time when this person wasn’t a member here.

and "guru" when you figure out how Tracker averaging works in practice. Note: no labels awarded to date
