Thanks guys - I saw an average for the new cap at 20.5 and octoaid is showing 21 for tomorrow. I guess it’s my mistake using an average vs an exact for my region (Yorkshire)0

I'm in the North West and tomorrow rate is: 20.77p/kWh for electric so still slightly below the new SVT, but its getting closer.

Tracker April 2024 v1 are definitely going to have some close to or over days over the next three months but likely it will still end up on average 10-15% cheaper.
They might have to pay attention to greener days and stack up some heavy kwh usage tasks to maximise the benefit though.0 -
What happens over the summer months has comparatively little overall impact because there’s little or no heating involved. What happens from the autumn is what really matters, and predictions are for a largeish increase in the capped prices. Come off tracker in the summer and you might regret it later in the year.
Or not, of course - it’s all just crystal ball gazing!0 -
Tracker July 2024 v1 introduced with a significant jump in rates this time - over 2p on electricity here vs Apr 24.5

So it would seem the latest iteration of Tracker will be more expensive than Flexible today, at least in some regions if not all.

Good while it lasted I guess. When my year fix ends, flexible will likely be a better deal.0
