Now that Guy Lipman's Smart Meter Data Viewer site is no longer operational, is there anywhere else that I can easily/instantly confirm whether there are any gaps in my data (website, as I don't have a smart phone)?0

Not instantly, but you can register with n3rgy.com as a consumer and download you're data, then manually check.SJMALBA said:Now that Guy Lipman's Smart Meter Data Viewer site is no longer operational, is there anywhere else that I can easily/instantly confirm whether there are any gaps in my data (website, as I don't have a smart phone)?

Damn - there's a gap showing this month, when we had power cut - can this be corrected?0

It's just 1 half-hour 'gap' last Saturday - my online account has usage data for the half-hour before, and after.masonic said:
It is unlikely there will be data available if you had a power cut. Is it recent enough that you can submit manual reads for the day of the gap and the day after?SJMALBA said:Damn - there's a gap showing this month, when we had power cut - can this be corrected?
Why can't (so-called) smart meters correctly identify that no electricity was used because of the power cut, rather than reporting missing data?0 -
It can't tell the difference between a power cut and someone tampering with it. It wouldn't have been able to measure the actual consumption if it wasn't powered. The smart thing to do is to own up to not knowing.SJMALBA said:

Another bill messed up, and load-shifting a complete waste of time and effort, because of a momentary power cut, and the inability of 'smart meters' to deal with a not uncommon occurrence... Words fail me. 😡

They were going to be able to understand and report power cuts, but the tinfoil hat brigade got in the way with their complaints of 'spying' and 'excessive tracking' so that function was removed. No power now equals no record.SJMALBA said:masonic said:
