Sam, for the last 10 pages you've been enquiring about the compare app, it won't hurt you to download it and try it. It's not going to take over your house electricity account......just like a smart meter didn't ruin your whole life when you eventually succumbed to getting one! Just go for it and try it, I'm sure you'll like it.

He did a few months ago when we discussed OS requirements (it was definitely a new enough Android to cope).

My Octopus mini hub arrived yesterday.
Fired it up and it worked straight away.
Bored with it now.

BTW - is there anyway to get current meters readings on it?
I'd sort of expected that and it would be quite useful, but I can't see them anywhere.

The Mini provides consumption data only, not index readings.

Looks like it is. Gas tracker website doesn't have the west mids one. No email from them. Octopus price not come through yet either (home assistant alerts me when next rate updates).

Streamlit app got my savings spot on for the first two sessions of the three, but streamlit said I had earned zero on 2nd March while Octopus gave me 568 octopoints for that date.

Anybody else experience this? Either streamlit are not doing the right calculation for Saturdays or Octopus aren't.

I think both Octopus and Streamlit are wrong for me. My baseline from 17th-18th and 23rd-24th Feb is (0.06+0.3+0.21+0.61)/4 = 0.295, but Streamlit has 0.25. I imported 0.17 kWh during the session, which Streamlit has correct. My actual saving should have been 0.12 kWh, but Streamlit has 0.08 and Octopus has 0.01.

My last one is different too. 136 according to streamlit but 160 given by octopus. I give up. I can't agree with either of them!

Octopus are having a few hiccups at the moment. I have had no daily rate showing on the app or the website since Friday. I can only see it if I opt to go to the old dashboard. I also requested a refund over a week ago and haven’t even had it approved yet, let alone get it paid. Things are not what they used to be.
