You have to add some margin for what you can shift though when viewing backwards and current as obviously we don't shift anything on tracker.

When you are in a position to do some analysis of your monitoring it would be fair to give some points to Tracker precisely because the user is not stuck with getting up at 3 am to do that day's load shift.Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -

We will have been cooking during the 4-7pm period but all washing/tumble drying and hot water would have been out of that period. That is not included on the constant load above for info.
As we move into Jan and Feb I expect our baseload to increase to 500/600Wh per half hour segment.
So I will see what the full month looks like come Jan 11th.
(Apologies to anyone I offend if I get my Wh mixed up when combining them with half hour segments I haven't had my second coffee)1 -
i did think about if to ask this here but thought it would be ok as i'm adding my own real world situation of use aswel so hopefully helps on the Tracker chat.
main point: what's peoples experience of speed of payout after requesting a "refund of balance"? i made a request for the 1st time today.
4th Feb will be my one year anniversary of joining Tracker, both. i set my DD based on a number of factors like previous years DD with old supplier, previous years usage and a 3 year average of usage. of course the one thing i couldn't guarantee was the unit rates.
i set my DD to an amount that i would be more than happy with if it covered the bills for 12 months usage. well, 1 more DD to go and thats 12 months use/payments. iv'e requested a £750+ refund, that leaves this months payment still there and of course one more DD to complete the year. very very happy.0 -

I usually request a refund in spring when the big bills are done. They only let you have a refund if you have a recent bill and frustratingly they wouldn’t let me take the full amount. It was approved the same day and in my account in less than a week.1

i actually requested the refund on Saturday morning and via the app, not sending an email. would they usually respond to say it has been actioned or will i just see my balance update?
thanks all.0 -
I just pay the actual bill by DD, so neither debt nor credit builds up.1
