June is going out on a high, but not in a good way - today's electricity DA price is, by a significant margin, the highest of the month, meaning a unit rate for me tomorrow of... 42.68p/kWh!In practice, it'll be 40p/kWh, as the cap has been hit for Tracker v2 & v3 for the first time since I started on Tracker, in the middle of April. It also means that the average daily unit rate for electricity in June will be (slightly) higher than SVT:-Tracker - 28.26p/kWhSVT - 27.9pkWh1

What's behind the recent hikes?
and can we expect a reasonable drop soon, that lasts for more than just the weekend or 2 days?0 -

Your guess is as good as mine; if I could forecast commodity prices with any confidence, I'd be lounging on my superyacht admiring my private island! (That's the U-rated version of the fantasy ...)N.
