Yes, all looking very cheap compared to SVT, so no quibbling on the percentage variations from me. I just hope my smart meter data updates without issue at some point, as Octopus haven't pulled anything since 23rd. Perhaps there was nobody in to push the button?MultiFuelBurner said:Glass half empty when electricity goes from 8p to 10p 😞 electricity going up 25% tomorrow

N3rgy had all of my data. At Octopus, the 25th came through at about 11am, leaving only 24th missing, but this has now turned up when I checked just now. I was just being impatientbristolleedsfan said:

The wholesale day ahead price today is slightly more than 10 times higher than it was just 4 days ago. It is also just less than one tenth of it's December 2022 peak. A combined one hundred fold change from lowest to highest. Makes you realise just how changeable energy markets are and also how good suppliers are at smoothing prices out!

can anyone help, on the app for example sun gone elecky was 8.2p i think, anyway ive used 8.79kw @ £1.15 so
my working out £1.15 devided by 8.79kw = just over 13p kw i'm getting charged or is that with the SC inc
am i working it out wrong here or something0 -
I don't think the £ figures in the app are reliable unless you are on SVT or a fixed tariff. Though that figure looks reasonable if inclusive of SC.northernstar007 said:can anyone help, on the app for example sun gone elecky was 8.2p i think, anyway ive used 8.79kw @ £1.15 so

Apps vary, but most seem to include the standing charge (and VAT). Makes sense, as that's the price you pay.4.7kWp (12 * Hyundai S395VG) facing more or less S + 3.6kW Growatt inverter + 6.5kWh Growatt battery. SE London/Kent. Fitted 03/22 £1,025/kW + battery £24951

This is what I see when I click the "?" icon next to the price:
Note also the "ESTIMATED COST (BETA)" underneath it. The same info is provided regardless of the view (day, week or month). Despite this, the estimated cost for December is very close to my own calculated figure including SC.0
