Aye still a  bit of wind around. It dies off on the 4th though before going up again Sunday.

Yep following https://emoncms.org/ukgrid as well all a bit of fun really planning when to run the legionella burn and do the most washing and tumble drying and oven cooking etc.

On a separate note my Octopus home mini arrives Friday apparently.

Nice, I've seen your post about your average electricity price on the Agile thread. Nice work.

We ideally need to invest in Solar and a battery (large) however Mrs MFB has got itchy house moving feet and with our mortgage fix ending in a couple of years we won't have time to recoup the investment here.

My bill is produced on the 5th and noticed that I have two totally blank days for usage on the app (18th and 20th October).

Rang Octopus up just now and they said they would manually try and get the readings from the meter and said it would "take a few hours", anyone any real world experience of if they are likely to achieve this in time for Sunday?  Dont want another month of smoothed meter readings!

In my experience the data was there the next day after I got confirmation they were going to manually pull it. It's been quite a long time since I last had to do that though (approaching a year).

Tracker Gas prices seem to have flatlined like it hit some kind of barrier! It's been exactly the same price for 4 days in a row. Any insight as to why? Not complaining mind you!

It's always the same over the weekend as I think that index that it's based on is not traded on weekends.

Wind levels have been quite steady, as has the wholesale gas price, not much variance in it the last week.

i posted here last month to say as usual my electricity usage was billed on an actual daily use basis but the gas had been billed on an average.
just got this months bill and both are billed on actual use again.
so since Feb electricity as been as used, Gas has been 50/50 average vs used.
