Just out of interest, does anyone know if Tracker is billed using daily index readings from the Smart Meter, or by totting up the 1/2 hourly useage figures?0

They switched me today to Tracker for both electricity and gas, despite me saying I wanted gas only and to remain on Agile for electricity.Why is nothing ever straightforward?
Well they switched me onto Tracker for gas and electric, but I only wanted electric.
I'll be calling Monday.

I was on gas tracker and agile for electric, requested switch to tracker for electric and so far nothing has been updated.0

Got the email about being switched on Friday and nothing has changed yet, wonder if they've paused.

I chose both and was switched over to both on the 7th but the tariff is backdated to the 1st. I also noticed that the SC is less on tracker than on the SVR by about 7p per day for electric and 0.63p for gasSomeone please tell me what money is0

Can anyone give me some advice regarding moving to tracker from economy 7 as Octopus are being unhelpful.
Last year I had a dumb meter and Economy 7 and as I was not making use of the night rate I asked Octopus to change it to the flat rate "flexible" tariff. They did this and I continued to input day and night meter readings which were charged at the same rate.
In May this year, smart meters were installed by Octopus and I signed up to the Tracker waitlist and moved to the Agile tariff immediately.
I received the Tracker invite email last week and filled in the form but have not been switched to Tracker. When I emailed Octopus about this they came back with an unhelpful 'tracker is not compatible with two rate meters"
What do I need to tell Octopus in order to get on Tracker for electricity? Did I just get an unhelpful rep?0 -
