The Tracker gas is still doing ok, 5.28p today (Yorkshire)
Yep the gas cost has barely moved upwards since temps plunged, but electricity costs are creeping up sadly and leccy makes up most of my bill, still very grateful for getting things cheaper than EPG.
Almost 6p/kWh for me today, and (judging by Marex) likely to be higher again tomorrow.

Was 5 point something at the time I posted for me, but it is indeed higher today now at 7.17p.  So on a upward trend now although still below EPG.

Yeah but Octopus never communicated to some of us if gas tracker is affected by EPG, so the only way to know because they didnt communicate is to see where it caps at.  If its the product cap of 11p or regional EPG cap.

Every single day since EPG started gas tracker has been below both caps.
    Ok, I see.

Yes, 7.38p/kWh for gas and 25.75p/kWh for electricity in Southern region today.
Anyone still on v1 will be appreciating their 6p gas cap!

The naming on Tracker is not exactly clear: there are two versions of v1, being 'v1 August' and 'v1 October'. I'm on v1 August, but the gas cap is 22p.
Is there a v1 version prior to 'August'?

Yes, the history is in this thread somewhere but IIRC there was:
    • v1 (original from 2016 to spring 2022)
    • v2 (which didn't last for long)
    • v3 (from April or May 22)
    • July 2022 v1
    • August 2022 v1
    • October 2022 v1

I just checked the energy-stats page, the energy tracking is barely above the original agile, so it is indeed a massive shame Octopus pulled the tariff as even on the £1 tariff, would barely be hitting 45p for a few hours at peak and then cheaper rest of day for most of the last couple of months.

Yes, the original v1 is the first version of tracker!

If they had adhered to apparent EPG reduction rules maybe they would not have had to pause Agile and Tracker tariffs.

Interesting both the reference to December 9th and also they stating EPG reduction will not reduce below 34p kWh
