Maybe it is worth sticking with Tracker for a bit longer.

Reply someone had today from experienced Octopus advisor.

Gas rate quoted is likely to be a regional flexible rate.

I would interpret that from what I can see as the tracker rates are not going to change, but from October the flexible rates will be this if you wish to switch back.bristolleedsfan said:Reply someone had today from experienced Octopus advisor.

The way I interpret that response is most likely the support rep isnt in the loop of whats going on thats why MWT suggested not bothering to contact them. The sort of responses I have had from Octopus rep's have been so bad at times, I know that their staff tend to just speculate when they dont know something.2

Yeah, really fills you with confidence with regard to their competence.Chrysalis said:The sort of responses I have had from Octopus rep's have been so bad at times, I know that their staff tend to just speculate when they dont know something.
I'm sure we'll find out about Tracker sometime this week, next week, this year

I certainly haven't bothered contacting them - there's no guarantee of a correct answer where Tracker's concerned (unless maybe contacting Greg Jackson directly, but the most likely response would be 'we're working on it') and it would just take up their time that they need to be using to get the info out. And sorting other people's urgent problems, that don't just stop because there's new tariff stuff to be worked out.1

You seem very willing to accept sub-standard customer service, not me. I expect better from any company I give my business to.Spoonie_Turtle said:I certainly haven't bothered contacting them - there's no guarantee of a correct answer where Tracker's concerned (unless maybe contacting Greg Jackson directly, but the most likely response would be 'we're working on it') and it would just take up their time that they need to be using to get the info out. Then give your business to another one, I'm sure Greg won't mind.fryedslyce said:
