NatWest - Cheque - Via App

Anyone heard anything about NatWest introducing the facility to deposit cheques through the app? 

I paid in a cheque yesterday in branch, they asked me to use the self serve machine but it rejected it so he told me to use the counter. 

Whilst I was waiting the man asked if I use the app which I said yes and he said to look out for the new feature soon, I’d heard nothing previously.

Yes, I think I saw it on the website. Coming soon apparently.

Yes, I see that as "Coming Soon" on the RBS app too.   They seem to update roughly monthly.  I did a 5 mile round trip (on foot) to pay in a cheque last week.

I did, but I have had very bad experience with PO cheque deposits.  RBS branch was only an extra 1000 steps or so, and it was sunny.

I also got told this at my branch. The Natwest app is really good, & this was the one thing that it’s been really lacking. 

I have to pay in cheques regularly & the opening hours of my branch have been woeful for people who still worked 9-5 throughout the last year.

15th of may if I remember correctly as when I paid one in last week they did mention it

RBS App on Android now has Cheque deposit.  Yay!
