List of Bank / Building Society app cheque deposit limits

For those of you who still receive cheques and have the choice of C/A (or are about to make the choice of a C/A with this 'app cheque limit' being a consideration).

Here's a consolidated list from contributions below. Thanks to them all.

Al Rayan - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Barclays - maximum £1000 per cheque four times a week

BOS - maximum £2000 per cheque and £5000 per day

Chase UK - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Coop - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

First Direct - maximum £500 per cheque and £750 per day

Halifax - maximum £2000 per cheque and £5000 per day

HSBC - maximum £500 per cheque and £750 per day

Kroo - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Lloyds - maximum £2000 per cheque and £5000 per day

M&S - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Monzo - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

METRO - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Nationwide - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

NatWest - maximum cheque of £500 and £750 a day.

RBS - maximum cheque of £500 and £750 a day.

Revolut (NOTE - not a Bank or BS) - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Santander -  maximum cheque of £500 and £1000 a day.

Skipton - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Starling - maximum £100 per cheque.

Daily limit of £2,000 for personal, joint and sole trader accounts; any number of cheques. Daily limit £5,000 for business accounts, any number of cheques

Tesco - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Tipton - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

TSB - cannot see a way to deposit cheque

Ulster - maximum cheque of £500 and £750 a day.

Virgin Bank - maximum £1000 per cheque and £5000 per day

Yorkshire Bank - maximum £1000 per cheque and £5000 per day

Max I know is one Cheque up to the value of £500.

If this thread gets any interest I might consolidate others findings on the first post on it.

I'm assuming (probably erroneously) that all types of C/As at a particular institution have the same limits.

Barclays is max £1000 per cheque up to 4 times a week

Starling: max £500 per cheque. I can't see a daily or weekly or other limit.

Santander, M&S, Tesco, First Direct, COOP, Metro, TSB, Ulster: no mobile cheque deposit that I can find

First Direct has one.
Go into the account and click  on the plus symbol in bottom right hand corner and then click on pay in cheque.
I've never used it but I've heard some people have had issues if the account is in a joint name, which ours is but the cheque is made out to one person. Not sure if they've improved on that otherwise it will be a nuisance if on the very rare occasion I receive a cheque for it to bounce for that reason.

First Direct definitely allow you to deposit cheques through their app:
