    ok I sent the above email to customer service, the automatic reply said you have to appeal via this link, putting the reference in it said "we cannot find this ticket".  Maybe that's because according to their rules it's gone past the point of no return.
    We shall see

    They "cannot find this ticket" because their appeal time has passed, it has been taken off their web links and given to their debt collectors to frighten you into paying.
    The debt collectors contract with them is on a no win no fee basis (the victim pays them via the add on fee) so they will not engage with you until the dozy debt collector gives in and hands it back.

    the update you were desperately waiting for - reply from NCP, we have forwarded your email to the relevant departments, please direct future correspondence to them.  So the reply to that was ok can you let me have the relevant email addresses please.  Oh and a second debt collector letter arrived threatening court action.  As per the expert advice, they just get ignored.

    third debt collector letter...they really really mean it this time
    meanwhile NCP want us to jump through another hoop.  I wonder if this address will take emails or is it just a series of tick boxes.

    Any appeal submitted via this email address will not be actioned. You must use one of the following methods to submit your appeal;

    Online link: https://ncp.zatappeal.com
    (This our preferred method to appeal. If you provide us with an email address, we will use this to communicate the outcome of your appeal. Please ensure it is correct)

    ah ok, but they are saying the ticket is not on the system.  So although they are saying they won't respond via the email they used to, er, respond, we reminded them that we won't be engaging with the debt collectors.  BTW I was joking when I said they really mean it this time

    They are just giving us auto responses now.  I wonder if anyone has an email address for NCP so WE can get it in front of some harassed office worker
