@doingitanyway is the instant pot trickier? What are your favourite soups to make?

Funny thing is I just made some soup. I sautéed onions, garlic, a few tomatoes and seasonings together in the IP, then I added 2 big courgettes. I then added a few handfuls of red lentils. I cooked in the IP for 30 minutes then I used my blending stick and threw in a handful of fresh basil. I don't really do soup recipes I just wing it based on whatever I have in. I always use HM stock and a bit of carb, either potato, beans or lentils to add a bit of body/bite

I had not being using the IP for soup really but I will now. The soup is lovely!

It sounds delicious! I’m not a courgette fan normally, but it should lose its odd texture in a soup 😊
courgettes and aubergines…shudder!

I can't have soup without a big buttery roll, kind of defeats the object to use it for weight loss 🤣

I’ve been watching the Joe Wicks series on Netflix and thought of you when the woman with the chocolate obsession came on 🤣 If you have Netflix can recommend as he comes up with some great ideas for food swaps. He calls scales the sad step and is all about inch loss.

I will have to try it. I need to start calling my tight jeans the sad pants! 
I used to love the American a year to save my life (your life?), where they couldn’t understand why they weren’t losing, were definitely doing everything right, yes definitely following the plan….and he’d have someone secretly filming them catching a bus on their run and eating secret burgers, etc. 😂 They always did so well in the end too.

I’m sure there was a UK version of that, definitely remember watching something where they were secretly snaffling pies etc 🤣
