Woohoo, payday! 🥳🥳🥳
Just added to to my pots and plan the spend the evening gloating over them like King John in the Robin Hood cartoon before I start smashing into them to spend. I MUST buy 7yo a new mattress (new bed arriving next week) but it's just such a an uninspiring purchase for all my hard saving these last couple of months!4 -
£10 a day is a lot.

a mattress is uninspiring. I actually bought a dirt cheap super king sized bed and mattress from Amazon ‘to put us on’ when the old v expensive bedstead died…and it’s surprisingly comfortable and will last quite a while. Delivery was free that way too…might be worth a look? (Disclaimer…I do not work for Amazon 🤣)Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I content myself with online jigsaws that nobody else in the house or passing through can fiddle with. I recently persuaded the HT that he needed a new mattress. The one that he had used to be mine and his dads and was older than him! His argument was that it was comfortable. Armed with a discount code that gave me £40 off I bought his from Very and just paid for it. I'd have bought one from Argos but it was too complicated trying to figure out which ones were actually available. I've not had any complaints so far about the new one.3
