Just added to to my pots and plan the spend the evening gloating over them like King John in the Robin Hood cartoon before I start smashing into them to spend. I MUST buy 7yo a new mattress (new bed arriving next week) but it's just such a an uninspiring purchase for all my hard saving these last couple of months!
a mattress is uninspiring. I actually bought a dirt cheap super king sized bed and mattress from Amazon ‘to put us on’ when the old v expensive bedstead died…and it’s surprisingly comfortable and will last quite a while. Delivery was free that way too…might be worth a look? (Disclaimer…I do not work for Amazon 🤣)2 -
Good Morning and happy Thursday, over the hump now and a step closer to a week off 🌸⭐️I need to buy premium bonds today. I was tempted to hang back until I know if the car will cost extra on the mot, but I worry I’ll just spend it, so I’ll get that done today! If the car costs more for mot and service that the £350 allocated I will add from my spending money or borrow from savings..depending on the amount. All will be revealed on Monday 😬
my soup maker arrived yesterday. I need to list the ingredients I will want to use.I moaned to Amazon about a late delivery and they have given me £5 credit for my trouble 😁 still no cat biscuits, but hopefully they will turn up eventually!

Hiya, did you get the bonds? I've had one for a couple of months but I'm not buying more for now.

Good morning and happy Friday, woohoo! 🎉 nearly the weekend and nearly the week off…I can do it (sobs quietly…you know what the last day before time off is always like…urgent jobs were already crawling out of the woodwork at 4.30 yesterday).
No plans to spend today. I do want to go through soup recipes to see what ingredients I need to get in. There won’t be much dieting as I asked for goodies for my birthday next week from my mum and sister and a large box of very posh biscuits and chocs have arrived from fortnum & mason 😬. Then a hotel chocolat sleekster arrived from a friend 😋 In theory this should stop me spending on goodies for a month!I hope you all have wonderful Fridays 🌸🍪🥂Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning. Happy last day of work for a while. I'm off out to give blood today and for a little mooch round the shops afterwards. Anybody need anything fetching? 😄
The Fortnum and Mason biscuits sound yummy. I've been in there so many times and I've never managed to buy anything yet. I've seen their latest afternoon tea advertised - I think it was £69 per person 😨 I bet it's absolutely amazing though. I thought spending £60 on drinks and ice creams for 3 people in Harrods was bad enough 🤣2 -
Happy Friday, happy breaking up from work day 🥳
Sounds like you’ve got lots of nice goodies to feast on next week 😋I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
