I'm quite an open book so most of my friends know my situation so I wouldn't care if they read my diary. The only people I wouldn't want to read it are my in-laws.  But as they just about manage FB they'll never find me on here! 🤣

I wouldn't be bothered about my friends. My best mate's family don't like me much though so they don't need any ammunition. They think that he and I are having a fling and are lying about it (we're not) and his sister thinks I'm after his money when it should all be spent on her. I'm not only not after his money, when he's paid for the house that he's buying now he won't have any left to spend on anyone 🤣 I quite often make him lunch or buy sweets or bits for him. He buys me decent plants now and then and is the source of good advice and reason when I'm on the bounce because of the HT. 

I'm off to repot the venus fly traps now. Fingers crossed that my tender ministrations don't kill them. They've all been dropped on the floor at various times though so I think they're quite hardy. One of them ate a spider because nobody told it that it's supposed to trap flies.

@CRANKY40 I can’t believe you are bankrupting your best friend with your plant habit and ‘only’ giving home baking in return…how do you sleep at nights 🤣 People do have a habit of making up what they don’t know 😖 I’m sorry you have a confused fly trap! I first read that you were going to report it 😬
SA that’s so funny that work people are following you, you could have popped in something wild as a test? 

I’m also pretty much an open book, although MrWW might be sad when I have a grumble on here that I couldn’t say out loud 😬, but I feel if I monitor what I say on here it somehow loses it’s worth…plus I appreciate all the constructive feedback.
MrT delivery gave us some exciting subs…a cabbage instead of a leek anyone? I only needed the leeks for soup trials so I’m not too sad. 

The big seagull who comes for morning left over cat food (along with a few smaller variety seagulls) was shouting in the gap in the tilted kitchen window at lunchtime…he was standing on the outside windowsill yelling in. That’s a first. I took the hint and threw out some old wraps, but I’m wondering if that was wise or if he’ll bully me forever now 🤣 The cats were 😦😳

Best friend has the plant habit too - he said on Thursday that he's ordered me "a few" dahlias. After further questioning it turns out they were £1 each so he's ordered a number that may or may not be greater than 30. Half each he said....I have no idea where I am going to put that many plants. I made him a christmas cake the week before last (for now, not for christmas, sigh!) so I reckon he's doing ok. 

I think you've answered your own question about the seagull. Have you seen the clips on youtube of the ones that help themselves to crisps from a shop and to cat food?

..and yes, that’s a worry 😬 luckily with house cats the doors are never left open…phew.

Following from your bird impression @WinterWarrior whilst eating breakfast with my little this morning id spotted something in the middle of the field that our house backs onto, which looked like a large long necked bird.

I thought maybe it was a goose or a pheasant as theyre both kept within about half a mile form our house so i was explaining to my daughter the noises they make to teach her the sounds. Once i was home from dropping her at nursery i went to the bottom of the garden to have a closer inspection and turns out its just a big old stick which must have ended up there after the wind over the weekend.

Hopefully my little forgets about said goose and i dont have to continue making squawking sounds at what i now know to be a branch from a tree.....

So happy Monday…I’m so late! 

Took the car for its mot and service, was promised 3 hrs, but it was nearly 5 hrs of hanging around! It ended up being a ‘big service’ so my allocated top amount of £350 got blown out of the water and it was £422 😖
Had lunch out with MrWW while we were hanging about and then coffee and cake later, so that was nice. 

My July spending money will have to be adjusted down to account for the extra spend today ☹️
