Good morning and happy Monday ✨🌷
i have managed to go up almost half a pound by sticking to my calories and getting over 13k steps in….trust the process WW, deep breaths 😅
I’ll probably struggle to get the steps in today, but I’ll make the attempt at lunch time and before I start making tea after work.I am at that happy point in the month where all the large dd’s have gone out, savings have been moved and for the most part what is sitting in my current account is my own for the month. It’s a nice feeling…the challenge now is not to go silly in the first few weeks!Mostly this weekend was working on the steps, so some nice beach and country walking, getting the food shop, cooking and the usual weekend jobs. I redid my nails (a nice deep rose colour, with my ring fingers in sparkling galaxy) and they look good. I’m getting better at it. The last set were terrible, but I realised it was because I needed new base and top coat bottles, so the scrapings of the old ones were making my nails kind of stripy and weird. The only trouble is, because they seem to pop off after a week or so, it does take a bit of my nail coating and it’s leaving them quite weak when they are bare, but they grow longer without breakages when they have the varnish layer. I guess you can’t win really! I’ve never been high maintenance, so I just presumed they’d be lovely and strong underneath 😅
I checked the pb’s big winner list, but sadly I’m not on it (again!). We’ll have to see what tomorrow brings!I hope you all have a fabulous day ☀️☔️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

That sounds like a nice weekend.
Would you find it too restrictive to divide your spending money for the month into weekly 'budgets' so you can keep an eye on making sure you have enough throughout the whole month to treat yourself?2 -
@PennysIntoPounds I have tried that before. The spirit was willing, but the flesh was weak 😅Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Tuesday ☀️☔️🌷
What a long week already! I have booked Friday off, I just can’t see myself lasting that long 😅 I didn’t have enough flexi, so had to sacrifice a leave day.I won £75 on pb’s in total - 1 x £50 and 1x £25. This is good. I had a 4 month dry spell which was really annoying, then £100 last month and £75 this. Long may they continue…although wouldn’t it be nice to have an amount that would make a difference 🥺 I’m sure I’m due a big win soon! My £75 is reinvested, so it’s not spendable.
I ordered a small jewellery box (£7.99) last night to keep my most used bits in. I have a big box, but it’s a pain to get to as it has to live in the corner on top of the tall drawers, so I wanted something I can just grab. I had had my eye on a box from fable that is out of stock. That one was £40 so I’ve made a big saving. Hopefully this one comes up to scratch and is as useful as I want it to be 😅 I feel ‘rich’ and relaxed with my larger fritter fund for June and I’ve barely touched it so far. It’s a nice feeling and I think I will continue to give myself more slack this year. Anything left at the end of each month will be moved to savings or pots.I hope you are all having a great day ☀️✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Yay, congrats on the PB win! Good idea to reinvest too, the more you have in the better your chances!
Pics when you get it of this jewellery box originally costing £40 please 😁1 -
@PennysIntoPounds it’s a different make to the £40 one (which was a pretty material on the outside).this is a pretend leather one, but the interior and size seem the same and the two tone outside seemed acceptable. I will share pics when it arrives. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
