Great to hear the weight is finally shifting.

Eggs have a lot of protein and not too many calories. Beans have loads too, about the same amount of protein in 1.5 cups of beans as in 100g on beef. They'll also give you lots of complex carbs, fibre and the black beans also have antioxidants. Your gut will love it too.  😀

Thanks jokono. I must admit I rarely have beans. It tends to be a MrWW staple. It’s a good shout though. I do have eggs sometimes and have been adding a protein milkshake drink at breakfast time. Other than that my protein tends to come mostly from chicken or cheese, but as I am weighing my meals for the calories, it’s not enough to hit the protein target. And of course I have to squeeze in an odd packet of crisps, a biscuit or a touch of chocolate 🤭😁

Good morning, happy Friday, happy payday woohoo 🎉
I have done the money shuffle…mortgage overpayment, £200 to pb/car fund, ff money returned to the right pot, M&S treat order returned to the right pot, normal pot shuffle for regular annual bills, a touch into general savings…phew. After the dd’s, a birthday present I need to buy, my regular coffee bean order, audilble, a small tv add on subscription and my fuel, I am left with a very respectable £800 for June. If I’m sensible (I know, I know) I should have some left to roll over to savings, but if not I should have a very relaxed month with no need to borrow from any pots. Fingers crossed firmly for a month with no disasters.
on the ff front….they are supposed to give us notice to de-ice and unplug the old ff, but we got a call yesterday saying they were ready to deliver. The delivery firm (the 4th in a line of deliverers as the main deliverers don’t work up here and it kept getting leapfrogged up the country) said they had no way to install the ff or take away packaging, despite us paying for this service and being told the deliverers would remove and re attach doors and anything necessary for a seamless install. MrWW spent time ringing around and the original deliverers said they subcontracted the full service, but the end delivers said they never took on that job. The manufacturer (who sold us it direct) have no idea and had to pass it to some other dept who will call us back ‘in a day or 2’. Aaarggh! So they have our money, the ff is in a depot somewhere (hopefully not damaged after all the transferring) and we are left not being able to stock the fridge for a second week. We are running on skeleton stocks, which isn’t easy with no local shop to pop to. MrWW says he may be able to install the plumbing if the connection is the same, but getting rid of the packaging will be painful and ideally we would want to know it was working before the deliverers buggered off 😖. I expect it won’t be until at least next week now…sigh!

That's frustrating about the FF.  Hope they sort it!
