Happy late Tuesday. Work was very busy, in one day off and a bank holiday everything had somehow piled up as if I’d had a whole week off!I am unsupervised tonight, so I was running wild. I ordered some bits from M&S (2 x 3 packs of bra’s, a blouse and a hat, then 2 polo shirts for MrWW) and a second beauty bag 😬 This will be my treat from my extra money…although I was horrified at how much I lost to tax and insurance, it must have tipped into the 40% tax bracket with Scotlands being higher tax and lower brackets than England 😭 I will be glad to have the bras as I struggle with washing them. They need to go in separately from the rest of the wash (or it’s a big knot) and at a lower temperature so they last. Because there is always a load of something essential in there, the bras tend to all end up in the bottom of the washing basket for ages, so even with plenty, there are never enough. Maybe it’s just me 😅
I finished the available Bridgerton episodes 🥰…delightful. I can’t wait for the rest. Then rewatched the devil wears prada. I may be up late tonight as dog hasn’t been out yet and is sleeping a deep and peaceful sleep. I’ll need to wait for her to stir so we can go outside.

Winty... (mean aunty voice) What of those purchases were essential and will save you money in the foreseeable future? If it's all then that's fine as you have income and can afford them but if not can any be cancelled or returned and the money put into your car or garage pot? Sorry to do mean aunty voice but I wouldn't be a proper mate if I didn't check!2

That all sounds reasonable and allocated, just checking! Though I am having a bit of a mare with bras as ever, nothing is ever quite right so if yours are really good do report back. I wouldn't beat anyone in a fight though 😂2

Re bras. I use a hand wash solution that is literally a bit swooshed through a washing up bowl of blood temperature water and bras go into soak for 15 minutes, followed by a cold water rinse under the tap (they say you don’t have to rinse but I prefer to) followed by a drip dry. Even I can do this every Saturday at some point 😊

@PennysIntoPounds M&S 3 for £20’s work fine for me, but I can’t always get on with really fancy ones. @KajiKita why didn’t I ever think of that? Doh!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Re bras, I hate handwashing so I fasten them and put them in one of a pair of net laundry bags from the pondcountry website to contain them. They also have padded lingerie ones but I use the bigger mesh bags to stop them tangling into a big knot and mean they can keep other low temp stuff company in the wm.
Sorry to suggest something to buy WW!2 -

My scary big underwired ones behave all at once as long as I do their fasteners up. Hope that helps and isn't too spendy!2

I was going to suggest the net bag as that's what I use. I must admit I wear sports bras most days rather than normal ones as I'm usually doing an exercise class at some point in the day. Am@zon do the net laundry bags for less than £10.
