Happy Sunday. Another NSD under my belt and just 5 days left until pay day. Oh how I want to get to that wonderful position where no count down is necessary!
we had a back up turkey in the freezer for if the Christmas one didn’t arrive, so if that’s defrosted in time (taken out yesterday) it will be a roast with all the trimmings today. That will keep me busy for a few hours this afternoon. 

I started sewing together my next quilt top yesterday, but wasn’t feeling it, so pottered in the garden for a bit instead. I finished the book I was reading (ok, but not earth shattering, I may try the next one at some point) and have moved on to another from my library. This one is The Sense of Death by Matty Dalrymple...let’s see if it’s worth its 99p from my amazon voucher last week 😁

Happy Sunday @WinterWarrior! Also counting down to payday.  We decided to blitz the house and garden today, my house is spotless but not for long no doubt! - I'll give it till Tuesday (if I'm lucky).  Also had another BBQ today which was a nice change to the traditional roast dinner...cooked on a BBQ but ate inside as despite it being lovely and bright today; there was a bitterly cold wind which spoilt it

yesterday we blitzed the bedroom....just one, but it took hours. It really, really needed it. Then I did umpteen loads of washing, but it was nice to dry some on the line again. I’m really feeling the pain after a strenuous weekend of cleaning and a touch of gardening. It’s shocking how unfit I am just sitting at my desk all day. I must try harder to move more.
on money saving, I broke my NSD run by falling for a bargain box of Malteser bunnies with prime delivery. £8 off....I do love a bargain. We had a box of the orange ones at Easter and they are very good. Luckily I had the money in my remaining paltry funds, so it’s covered, but now I must spend nothing else until Friday. 

Good luck for this week, may we all survive until payday, have easy work days, nice weather and plenty of NSD’s (and chocolate bunnies 😋) ☀️

Must have been the day for blitzing as I did 11yo's bedroom.  Filled a bin bag and the laundry basket!

Oh that’s so good, I’d love a skip. They are so expensive! Last time we had one we paid for the skip and then were charged by weight for getting rid of the contents...it put me right off! I’m sure I could fill one to the brim...

I cracked and ordered the pet food today ☹️ It will be paid off first thing on Friday. I wanted to wait, but dog was very concerned about her treat situation, then the cats took an inventory of the Dreamies and crispies and I panicked and ordered it all today. Hopefully there’ll be more than enough to make it past the end of June.

So funny, I have images of them with noses in cupboards! Some grated cheese on pups dinner worked a treat tonight.

I'd love a skip but live in a bend and cant have a driveway. MrM senior likes a bit of liberating things from skips 🤣

That is good news. Dog says you can’t beat a bit of cheese! Dairylea is excellent for hiding tablets in too.
I hope MrM snr has found some antiques roadshow worthy skip finds!
