oh @elbree one is still good. You are kicking it compared to me last month!
I’d like to say that being at work makes me less distracted too, but when the meetings drone on it can be touch and go ☹️.
Have a fabulous no spend Tuesday.

Have you thought of joining the NSD challenge? You're doing really well!

My pup has turned really fussy since he got ill. He is also a touch on the podgy side but I'm really strict with treats. It's the pesky kids who cave in when he gives them spaniel sad eyes. 🤣

Thanks @Naomim I shall search out the challenge.
we both give in to our Lab. we say she’s fat, we insist no extra treats, we stand firm...and then we hand them out constantly, share our food, fall soft at every moan and then look very ashamed at every annual vet weigh in, promise to do better and repeat 😖

Oh that has made me laugh. Unfortunately my fur baby has a heart condition so important to try and keep weight down. He also has arthritis so long walks are a no these days. 😔  I'm sure he thinks he's a cat though as sleeps all day and lies on the top of the sofa looking out the window 🤣

Ah, poor pup. My girl gets very stiff and doesn’t walk far. She will dig for hours if we let her, but then would expect carrying home and at 50kg it isn’t going to happen!
another NSD today. I did spend £2.25 on a kindle book I don’t need, but cashed out £5 in Amazon vouchers from ipsos....I still have £2.75 left and it’s burning a hole in my virtual pocket 😬 the next book in the series is £3.07 though and would tip me over into real money so I’m holding out for it! 32p over...I think not!!

All on track for NSD 6 today!
I did spend another 99p last night on an interesting looking kindle book, leaving £1.76 left on the voucher. The joy of a purchase with no real cost 😬
I have confirmation of a refund today from a marketplace package that I’ve been chasing for over 2 weeks....then within a couple of hours it arrived! You couldn’t make it up. Now I am having to contact them again to see if they want to collect it (only biscuits and the box is very battered after all its adventures). If they want to reverse the refund I’m not sure I want to pay full price for crumbs...
happy Wednesday everyone, lots of luck to everyone who needs it x

Good morning diary friends. NSD6 was a success yesterday. Mr WW paid the birthday money which was a great surprise, then I cashed out £8 on prolific, meaning I could clear off the small amount on my credit card before month end. If I hold out on the pet food for a week I can go into the new month with a clean slate for the first time in a long time and may even manage a loan overpayment on top of the big birthday present I need to get next month. I now have £20 to last until the 30th with nothing I ‘need’ to spend on if I can hold fast! The dog has obviously taken up the challenge and is eating treats as fast as she can 😮
In other news I finished another book and am on read number 36. One bizarrely called Carrots about someone who gets grazed by a bullet in the head and ends up being able to read minds...I hope it’s good. It was one of my bargain kindles.
Today is my Friday as I have tomorrow booked off. I have nothing much to do tomorrow, but I’m looking forward to not doing it!
I hope you all have a fabulous and lucky day x

  • Just read your diary and wanted to say you're doing really well on the NSDs and yesterday seemed a real bonus for you.  Keep it up, I will cheer you along :)

Starting the new month with a clean slate will be awesome - fingers crossed for you!
