I prefer to meal plan. I like to know what I’m eating. It was also key to my success in getting to and staying at goal. Why not try splitting your calorie allowance up into breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and take it from there one day at a time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Yes wraps are fairly ok, the worst thing is white toast bread, the cheaper quality it is the more I suffer. only 340 calories before I removed half of the wrap too.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

That’s a good idea. Once I’ve done the shop I shall add my meals into nutracheck in advance and pre chop a few days worth of salad style lunches to grab and go. I’ve been having plain Greek yoghurt with defrosted cherries and a spoon of posh honey for breakfasts this week and plan to carry on with that. It’s sweet and bulky enough to keep me going and adds some fruit.Sun_Addict said:I prefer to meal plan. I like to know what I’m eating. It’s always the way 😢 why can’t it be lettuce leaves that we have to avoid? Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I'm fine during the day, but suffer when I’m laying in bed after an excess of good bread. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

The plain Skyr fat free yogurt is delicious and I’m happy to have this with some fruit as a breakfast. If snacks are your downfall you could allocate more calories to this category as a start with an aim to cut down in due course. I tend to have home made soup for lunch in the week as it fills me up, I’m not a fan of bread so don’t feel I need to have it with my soup. It all takes time to change your habits so don’t expect overnight results.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I’ve got an intolerance to lettuce! I did an intolerance test a few years ago as I couldn’t work out was causing issues with food I was eating and one of the things that came up was lettuce. I did an exclusion diet and then reintroduced diet with what was on the list and yes it turns out I can’t eat lettuce. There was a whole load of other things on the list but that was the most surprising one and now I don’t feel guilty not eating it!! Xxslowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T2

Woohoo @southern_chick. It could have been an intolerance to chocolate or wine, so Lady Luck was smiling on you there 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I think I’m doing soup wrong as it never seems filling! I do have a soup maker and plan to pull it out and start using it again.Sun_Addict said:The plain Skyr fat free yogurt is delicious and I’m happy to have this with some fruit as a breakfast. There were lots of other things on the list. I’ve had to cut most sweet stuff and processed food but it’s made such a difference to my symptoms it has been worth it. I can still eat one brand of (purple) chocolate so not all bad. I just make sure I never run out of it!! There wasn’t any alcohol on the list though 🤣🤣WinterWarrior said:Woohoo @southern_chick.
