I was looking at the crimpits last year but the offer was two of the same when I’d rather have one of each so didn’t bother in the end.Well done on the steps and the Zumba 👏
When you’re back at work, I assume you get breaks? Could you do a short workout or walk then? Are you on flexi time, can you block out 30 minutes in your calendar, that’s what I do. Or maybe do a short walk before you log on, one at lunchtime and another after work. It all adds up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
I love my crimpit, sorts of makes GF bread edible ! As it isn’t untoasted ….. much to DS horror I quite like them filled with jam or prunes and served with ice cream.Sealed pot challenge 822

I’ve been known to have deep dish toasties with banana and brown sugar, served with ice cream @dawnybabes. I’m all for your ideas…but maybe not while I’m being good 😢Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Tuesday everyone. It’s been the Mondayist Tuesday ever 😅 So busy with all the new financial year malarkey.
I weighed this morning and despite Fitbit telling me I had earned back the extra calories I ate, the scales decided to award me all the poundage I had lost over the last 3 weeks…hurrah! So here I go again!Other than that I am looking forward to pb wins tomorrow 😬 I know I didn’t win any top prizes as I checked the list 😢But maybe I’ll have a small one…
I hope you are all having a good day 🌷☀️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I would take a hammer to those scales, how rude 😐
How do you know if you’ve won anything on the PBs? I’ve got some but not won anything yet, not that I’m expecting to 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -

How do you know if you’ve won anything on the PBs? I’ve got some but not won anything yet, not that I’m expecting to 😆There is a prize checker app you can download, that’s the easiest way…but you could just log on and check on the main site tomorrow. You can set it to reinvest your wins or send you the money. If your bonds are pre website , then you may have to register? Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

They also send you an email if you've won anything so do check that your details are up to date. I don't check unless/until I get an email as I don't want to pressurise Ernie 😂3

I will check on the app if I wake up after midnight (tonight) … sod pressure on Ernie 😂1

Well no win for me….that’s 4 months of nothing now…sigh 😭 I hope you have been more successful than me if you have pb’s. As MrWW was on nights and dog was being a night garden walker and every cat in the house wanted to get under the covers with me (on their own, so various stealth pushing out of the competition and a few harsh words) and the losers thought the second best place would be to curl up on my shoulder/neck/head/prime pillow position…I was awake and ready to check my winnings, so had my hopes dashed nice and early. Ah well, maybe May is my month! As everyone was being a complete pain (as they often are when the ‘low patience threshold’ dad isn’t around) I was up very late and subsequently purchased an airtight butter dish, a fancy pants butter knife for spreading hard butter (who knew?) and some glass food containers with air tight snap top lids that I have been lusting after forever. The dishes are glass, oven proof, microwave safe, freezer proof, the works and I think they will be brilliant for food prepping and for storing leftovers away, while avoiding plastics. The lids are food grade plastic, but I guess there isn’t a way around that. Now I have to learn to change my habits and prepare lots of healthy lunches in advance, that I can just grab. So, anyway, spending happened, but good spending I can justify. I have £160 left for April in the spending money, which is plenty as long as my world behaves itself with no curve balls.Work today…and I’m hoping for a shorter day than yesterday….where I seemed to do all of the bank holidays work in one go 😖 8 until 5 with barely a lunch half hour was too long!I hope you all have a fabulous day 🌷☀️⭐️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Thursday 😁 I booked tomorrow off as I just wasn’t feeling it and now I’m very glad I did as I was up half the night with dog. It started with a 12.30 garden wander and moved on to shuffling, sitting in the porch, barking for me, me going and telling her to come back to bed, her moving into the hall, lots of ear flapping and messing about. I left the light on for her as I think her eyesight isn’t the best and she eventually put herself back to bed at 2.30. I had buttered toast and coffee at 2am and did a lot of reading, finally being able to turn the light off at 3am…so I am tired today. The toast bed picnic was lovely though, it tasted twice as good in the wee small hours.I have been at work since 8am and the hound refused breakfast, had a snack and is now catching up with her sleep on my office rug. Catching up on her sleep for tonight probably 😬 The littlest cat is helping himself to her breakfast and pulling the kibble bits out with his paw and crunching them really loudly 😁 He’s leaving the gourmet cat pate that I added in to sweeten the deal for her.
The week started off really busy with all of the annual invoicing and beginning of year jobs, but now it seems quiet. I think a lot of people are still on leave from Easter.
I didn’t spend anything yesterday and rounded down my current account, sending an extra £4.18 to the pots. The pots are standing at over £450 in total, but I want at least £1k in the car pot by July for the mot and service to be safe.
I hope you all have a lovely day 🌷☀️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
