I love a good dessert, but prefer a sundae…which they didn’t have on the menu 😢
We did have sunshine today, which was nice.I managed to get 8k steps just with stomping around the garden while dog reclined in the sunshine. 

It hasn’t been a good food day as I finished the day strong with a cheese wrap, salad and air fryer chips and homemade apple crumble and ice cream … and pink fizz. 

@CRANKY40 I may have a faulty Lab as she can be quite fussy.

Good morning and happy Sunday 🌷🐣
I have no idea what to do today. I will aim to get more steps in, but I may also crack open my Twix Easter egg. I should clean the kitchen. Dog will want to lie outside, so that gives me chance to walk around her a bit until she decides to come back in. I think she has a touch of dementia now as she doesn’t want to go out when she’s in and doesn’t want to come in when she’s out. This is the downside to having a big dog, you can’t just lift her when you know she must be bursting to go out, but she just can’t be bothered get up. If I’m out of her line of sight and she’s awake she squeals and barks for me, but won’t walk into the next room where she knows I am. I sometimes end up sitting on the floor with her for some peace. Poor old girl. It doesn’t feel like 2 minutes since she was racing around the house with stolen socks and we could go out on long gallops to the beach. I know I’m so very lucky that she’s got to such a grand old age, but I do hope she keeps going for a lot longer.

Well I have a garage roof pot set up, but only £30 in it so far 😬 I was having a look at it again this morning. I did ask MrWW if he could ask around at work for a man with a van/tip run type recommendation, but think I need to remind him again. I did do some steps around the garden this morning, but will take my secateurs out of my pocket on the next trip 😁

Good morning and happy Monday. How lovely to not be at work. 

Yesterday I got a fair amount of pruning done in the garden and over 9000 steps…mainly because winter dog refused to come in for hours. I was worried about her getting heat stoke as she was cooking and panting in the sunbeams, but finally managed to persuade her onto her feet for a big drink and a cool down inside. This morning we were out at 6.45 for half an hour…I’m worried this is a new pattern, as it will be impossible to just nip her out for a wee when I’m working without being late back. 

I need to run my car today as the battery was still warning me when I came back on Saturday, but I will wait until the bin men have been, as they have form for leaving the empty bin in the middle of the entrance to the drive and there’s no good way to pull up and move it out of the way. 

I have managed a whole weekend of not spending. The last thing I bought was some birthday presents and a crimpit (crimpet?). Ok, I could live without a crimpit, but it’s a clever idea for a well stuffed wrap that doesn’t unravel. I expect it will arrive this week sometime and I’m looking forward to trying it out. 

I did do some online virtual basket loading, but then closed the tabs down. I don’t need any clothes at all!
