See the £10 idea is good if you didn't live in the middle of nowhere.... you could nip to the shops after work. As you do live out in the wilds, I'm going to assume that some of your wish list will attract postage costs hence the suggestion. It would annoy me to pay one lot of postage and then find something later in the week that could have been included in the first parcel. Of course if it's on prime it probably won't matter but that's where my train of thought was headed.
I think you should tell us what you're buying, lol. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that I want that much but I may follow your example and start a pocket money spends wish list obviously with a lower budget as I'm still paying things off. Could be fun though.3 -

@CRANKY40 I do a lot of ordering on Amazon with free postage as I pay 7.99 a month for prime.I would totally embarrass myself listing my random frittering, but it’s a really good idea.
when I kick off July I will bore you all with a list of my purchases…then you can collectively tell me off when I’m being bonkers 🤭 …that’s a job for you all in July 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I suspect that most of us are the same when it comes to random stuff. This week I've bought in no particular order......sweets for the HT's partner, new t-shirts (2 for me and one for the HT that he doesn't really need), some SW bars because I am currently failing yet again to understand that eating them will not make me thin, it is not eating things that makes you lose weight, several packets of biscuits for the HT because he's not been well even though I made him brownies yesterday and some sticky pads to stick the numberplate back on my car because I noticed that it was slipping.
I don't think that I need the £2.50 worth of sticky pads now though because glued it back on with superglue and it seems ok. I've also bought chocolate. I buy chocolate every single week even though I say I'm not going to. Is there such a thing as a fear of not having chocolate in the house? 🤣🤣🤣3 -
@CRANKY40 I buy chocolate in bulk so it doesn’t go on MrWW’s food shop bill, but we get through it quickly (although I probably only account for a third). I’ve bought cans of sparkling wine (much cheaper than the supermarket and single servings so they don’t go flat if you only want a glass), books I want to read, when I have a kindle full of books I haven’t read, material for the next, but one project, when it will take months to finish this one…so many unnecessary things! In July I shall keep you all apprised of my pocket money spending, then you can keep me in line 😁
I loved those sw bars, but they are TINY!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

As you probably know it is cheaper (£16.88) a year to have an annual subscription for prime. Is there any way you could look at tweaking your budget so you are able to pay annually which would work out the equivalent of £6.58 per month.
If MrWW eats two-thirds of the chocolate does he contribute to the cost?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

If MrWW eats two-thirds of the chocolate does he contribute to the cost?I couldn’t possibly charge him for chocolate, that would be so mean (and he could stop buying my ice cream in the weekly shop 😦). I could just not buy it, but it’s a nice treat to have. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Glad to hear you're happy with the chocolate/ice cream.
Possibly you could nominate a pot Amazon prime and have the aim to build it up to a years subscription, it doesn't matter if it takes a year or two initially, you will get there in the end where you don't raid the pots.
Anything you leave in a pot is better than nothing and the more you have the more your future self will thank you.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
