Good morning and happy Sunday. I hope Mother’s Day is kind to everyone ⭐️
I got up nice and early at 5.45 as dog decided a dawn poo was in order. The birds were singing and it was dark, but crisp and pleasant in a weird half awake way.
i took my car for a ride (minus dog as she can’t/wont jump in anymore) and did some reading and made lunch..that’s about it so far. I will do my nails this afternoon, I’m deciding between a pearly white or raven black like my soul 🤣

Good morning and happy Monday ☀️ How lovely to be back at my desk 😬
Dog slipped in the mud yesterday and only manage to get up with me heaving up her back end. She’s 13 and a half now and I do worry about her as she has slowed right down. So I spent £29 on a box of her very favourite ducky treats. I was trying to replace them with cheaper things, but the dog mum guilt was real and I think I’ll just get her all the things for as long as we have 😢 it’s not that she does without, and probably her weight doesn’t help her, but I just want her to have some joy in life and food is her biggest joy right now.So that was yesterdays spends, I will try not to spend anything today. I have closed down all the open tabs of lovely things I have been looking at….i don’t need them!
I am up to book 13 of the Stephanie Plum re reading marathon, so that is helping with the no kindle spends this month.I hope you all have a fabulous day filled with sunshine and happiness ☀️✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well done on closing the apps…..it’s the little things that mount up and help 👍
I’m with you on spoiling the dog….it’d be cruel to stop her treats now.January spends - £587.583 -
Give your dog her treats, keep her pain free and enjoy her.... precious memories. (((hugs))) XXX

Well done on closing the tabs! Definitely keep treating the dog!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Happy Wednesday everyone. What a long week!Yesterday was a blip in the diet as we had an Indian takeaway for tea. I actually only get korma sauce with my rice, naan and vegetable pakora’s as dog loves korma chicken 😅 it’s very mild so I get to suck the sauce off and she queues for her share (then finishes off with some poppadom before going to get her own tea). MrWW treated us, but I did spend on the big river store ordering some new slippers, some peanut m&m’s (diet food 😅) and a dispenser type thing for the rosemary hair oil.I will be going outside with dog for lunch soon. I have taken to pruning things with the secateurs while I wait for her to bumble about. It’s making quite a difference already with a bit here and a bit there.
This month hasn’t been as a great as I’d hoped, but I should end on £650 added to savings overall by the end of the month. Next month will be similar as I need to replenish the heating oil, but I’m looking forward to seeing how the NI reduction affects my take home pay. I think last time it increased by £30 something, so may be similar? I’ll have to check back.I hope you are all having a good day ✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good idea to prune bits while waiting for the dog. Every little helps 🙂I was about £30 better off last time with the NI.That’s an excellent amount of savings.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
