Hope your 2 days pass quickly. Have you got nice plans for your week off?The apple turnovers sound lovely.I don’t blame you waiting for a chance of voluntary redundancies…..you’ve given them a lot of commitment.January spends - £587.582

Good morning 🌅 Friday at last!
I am sad to report that I didn’t win on the pb’s…not even a measly £25. I can on,y hope I’m storing up my luck for next month! It’s my last day of work for a week, so I’ll be busy trying to do next weeks work today so there’s less to catch up when I come back…fun times!I chased up a refund for an item I didn’t receive from amzn marketplace yesterday. They were incredibly unhelpful so I reported directly to Amzn proper and they refunded me straight away. I have another I need to chase today. I do try to order just from amzn, but some orders seem to bounce to a marketplace company after I’ve placed the order thinking it’s fulfilled from the warehouse. The £18 was refunded to a gift card as that is quicker than back to my card, so now I need to source the birds big box of fat balls from a more reliable supplier.

Happy last day of work! Trying to get everything done is a nightmare, but it's so satisfying if you can achieve it!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Good morning ☀️ and happy Saturday ⭐️
I didn’t sleep well as work was still rattling around my head, along with my hip hurting a bit. I know my hip is down to excess weight and losing a stone would fix it. Easier said than done though! I must get back to using nutracheck. I paid for another year, so need to get with the program!I have been a bit spendy, which is off plan already and it’s only the 3rd 😖 I was using girl math as the special seaweed shampoo and conditioner were on a fantastic 3 for 2 offer, which saved a lot of money. I added a balm to get it over the £90 so I could get the free products on the offer too 😬 The shampoo and conditioner have been working wonders as I’ve had a lot less shedding since I switched to it. I was like a malting dog and my stray hairs were everywhere, so I’m really happy that’s reduced considerably.
Then I bought some kindle books that were more want than need. I have pulled £100 from my car insurance pot to cover the spending…as that isn’t due until August, so I have plenty of time to build it up.We are going out for lunch today (I’ll try and calorie count it). I’m looking forward to this as with MrWW’s shifts we haven’t been anywhere for about 3 weeks. He wants to go to the American burger place…I’m happy to go anywhere I don’t have to cook 🤭 I probably won’t have a burger though, they are very rich.
i hope you all have a brilliant day ✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good to see you back on form WinterWarrior I'm still just bumbling along doing a bit of this and that and trying to keep my head above the parapet. I've had the pup this last week, he's nearly three now so not much of a pup anymore but he's still as lovable and crazy as ever and love him to bits. Can't believe work treated you like that, all of the work you put in and hassle you have they are lucky to have you!

Good morning 🌅 I am halfway through my week off and have been snowed in! We took MrWW’s car for mot yesterday and is passed, but needed the back brakes doing so we left it with them. I’m hoping it won’t be done today as I have a fair weather car that will happily slide sideways on a single snowflake…let alone a complete white out 😖 So I’m not crazy about wasting a day off, but would rather not risk an outing. Dog was delighted though and refused to come back in from her wee 😅 She can’t play like she used to, but managed a roll and a face slide. @nannygladys I miss those crazy pup days ❤️
I may redo my nails today and watch some tv!
I hope you all have a great day ⭐️

Well what on earth is happening with the weather! My holiday is being snowed off 😖 the roads here are thick and treacherous so I really don’t want to take MrWW for his car when it’s ready. Fingers crossed it isn’t ready today 😅 It will also be another day with the heating on slurping oil 😒
Yesterday was another tv day. We watch The Marvels and had way too many snacks. Then had fish and chips from a local food van that came to the village. They were excellent, the best we’ve had in years.
I think next week will need to be a calorie counting healthy eating reset, because I do feel overweight and uncomfortable. I was planning out a healthy eating/squeeze in at least 7 a day plan while I was laying awake at 3am …I can remember at least some of it…I must write it down 😬
I have probably fallen for another gimmick and ordered a water drop starter kit and a micro drink flavour pack at £42. I know, I know! I like the glass bottles, so will use that even if the drinks aren’t nice. I’ve been looking at them on and off for months, so I’m not sure why I succumbed last night! Hopefully it will encourage more water drinking as I need to do that to help with my good hair journey, alongside the hair oiling, head massaging, plaiting my hair for sleep, etc. it’s supposed to take a good 6 months to see the effects so I will report back. I blame TikTok as I keep being shown glorious hair (and also Chinese head massages and hair washing which is ridiculously addictive to watch 🤭).
So in a nutshell so far I have done nothing with my holiday yet still spent money 🤯
I have jiggled pots around and have £70 for the rest of Februarys spends. The strict savings have not reduced, but I did dent a few pots. I put an extra £100 in pb’s to discourage me from spending it.
Oh and I ordered a very basic gardening book for £7. It’s for beginners and shows what to plant and what jobs to do each month, with space to write what you have planted and where. It’s very pretty and I hope it will encourage me. I’ve never been good at gardening and we have so much of it I would really like to learn. It would be good exercise for me and a distraction from spending and the online world!
I hope you all have a tremendous Thursday 🥶 ⛄️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
