  • 😁 @milann it’s no joke when you can’t lift them! It’s the equivalent of pushing a Thelwell pony 😅
I have changed the bedding and done a few jobs, but it will be a lazy afternoon here.
I did spend some money on a polo shirt MrWW had fancied. It was our anniversary on Friday and true to form we both forgot 🤭 so I thought I’d better order something. We’ve had several years where we are reminded by my mum 😅
I hope you are all enjoying your Sundays ✨

Can you wear gloves to get around that? I didn’t used to bother with my nails, but find it quite a lift now ✨
No, it is too much of an infection control risk. I used to love painting my nails when I still had an office job. It does make it really special now when I get gel varnish done for holiday though. :) Highly recommended, it lasts the whole holiday perfectly.

Good morning and happy Wednesday. I don’t have much to report, it’s all work and bed and spending too much!
I cashed in some pb’s as I was really nervous I had no savings left in my bank account. They should land tomorrow and I will move it to my instant access saver. It’s £1000 so then my aim will be to not touch it and to add the money back to pb’s over a few months. It’s not ideal, but I worry when I overstretch as if something happened right now I wouldn’t have any money available. I really don’t want to have to use credit as a buffer, it just won’t do after all the trouble it took to stop using it.
This month hasn’t been great to say it was supposed to be the big reset. I just lost my mojo and can’t get the savings vibe back again. All being well I will end this month £250 higher than last month, which is pretty pathetic!
And I just bought a new bag that I do not need! It’s a Mia tui rucksack one in black. I already have a Mia tui rucksack in red…but this one converts to a shoulder bag, which will be extremely useful and I have been looking at it for weeks. I don’t know how long it will take to arrive though.
So that’s my moanings for today….oh and dieting will need to start again tomorrow 😅
    oh dear 😖
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday ✨

£250 is not pathetic at all! And it's bound to take a little bit of time to get your mojo back after all the stress you've been through. And it's the least inspiring time of the year!
Do you still need the old bag? Could you put it on Vinted to try to get a few pounds back, and/or have a sort out of other things you could sell to build the premium bonds pot up?
Being able to use savings instead of credit is a positive position to have got to, don't do yourself down!

Edited to change from 'bring' to 'being'!
  • Thank you @PennysIntoPounds. I do still have that bag….but what if I need to use a red one? 😅
I did have a big clear out of old radley picture bags last year on eBay , but I think this one wouldn’t make very much.
I haven’t ventured into vinted. Do you rate it?

£250 up on savings is great!

I use Vinted for buying, and like it.  I haven't tried selling on there though.
