Those M&S perfumes are lovely. I bought a set of 3 for my DD for Christmas and she loves them, especially the pink pepper one.

I think it is more because the sub doesn't feel real, just like a story we are being told or a film.  Whereas the 750 feels uncomfortable because we know that some people are saying it is good news & we just don't want to hear that.

I think it's because the sub makes a good story - billionaires, the drama of will they survive, that sort of thing. Whereas a a ship full of displaced people sinking, albeit a terrible tragedy, is just another Tuesday news wise and difficult for them to make gripping and exciting.

Good morning and happy day off Friday 🌞
after a few good weigh days I have put nearly a pound on overnight, despite sticking to my calories…sigh. I know it’s always ups and downs, but it’s still disappointing. I was hoping to get back to losing a pound a week, but it’s sticking to a pound every 2 weeks wether I like it or not. I am still just above my old top fattest weight and I want to be under it! Today won’t help as I want lunch out 😅 I did have less fruit and veg yesterday and more bad calories, so following on from the twins  upf experiment it does seem true that not all calories are equal.
MrWW got a rather expensive toy yesterday for his hobby. I wish I could say what, but it’s so outing. Anyway, bought with his overtime (I wish I could get overtime) and cost a thousand pounds. All fair enough as we do what we like with our spare money, but I’m secretly rather annoyed that I’m paying double that for the roof replacement and he’s buying toys 😖 I could obviously moan more on the subject, but I’ll try not to. It is what it is and I’ll be improving the living conditions and house value, it’s just making me think twice about the decorating I need to do as I’ll need to fund that too (and do it). I think it will make me happier to have it nice again, but I don’t want a savings hit, so will maybe do it a little at a time.
I hope you all have a very happy Friday 🌞☕️☕️

I'd suggest another savings pot to him maybe? Decorating etc. If he can afford toys he can afford £25 a month to keep his playground nice.

I'm winning with the weight, lol. Two iv drip bags and a new knee equals two pounds on according to my scales.

We do have a small joint repair pot, but I’m saving for a replacement fence 😅
How are you @CRANKY40? I hope you are feeling ok and that they didn’t give you an extra heavy knee 😮
