Yay for the weight loss and thumbs down to the work call. I'd just get a bit of the cleaning stuff at a time. When someone invents a cleaning product that jumps out of the bottle by itself and does the cleaning for me I'm in (thinking maybe a genie from a lamp but he appears with a duster in one hand and the spray bottle in the other).

I'm trying to make sure everything is organised for at least the next week when moving around will probably be a bit difficult. I don't have very high expectations of being "looked after" by the HT 🤣
Is it Monday you get your knee replaced/fixed? Extra good luck Cranky xx
No, tomorrow is "knee day" 😨 and thank you. I should be home tomorrow evening but they may keep me overnight.
Hope all goes well CRANKY40  :)

I saw Dr van Tulleken on Twitter earlier responding to Guardian Opinion piece which had called for all Highly Processed Food to be banned. He said he didn't think that would be a good idea at all, and apart from the fact it would include things like baby milk and nutritional supplements for the sick, it would unfairly disadvantage people on the lower end of the economic spectrum. I got his book on a Kindle Daily deal last week so I'm looking forward to reading it.

That's what he was saying in the video as well. No banning food, but clearly marking products as UPF and then having stricter regulations for conflicts of interest AND banning lobbying/involvement of UPF producing corporations in policy making/ research.

A lot of the time these timescales are given to manage expectations so you don't get loads of people chasing too soon.  At work the delivery time we give people is longer than the time it should actually be delivered within.

On my ebay I give a despatch time of 5 working days but nearly always post the same or next day.  It's stopped the silly 'where is my item' emails, and most people are pleasantly surprised as their item turns up a lot quicker than they expected.

That’s so true, but sadly the business I work for is such a large machine everything takes twice as long as expected. I sent a message asking them to stop the replacement order and tonight I got an email saying they can’t stop it, but I can keep it 😁 that will be a lovely result if it turns up. I’m loving the perfume in the bag.
Today was my Friday, so it was a long day, but tomorrow I am freeeeeee.
It was a horrible, but expected interest rate news today, but Monzo increased their savings rate a touch. So that’s something. And the poor people in the submersible 😢
