I thought of putting a post up about my Dad, and have done in the past, but today I wasn't feeling it. Everyone has just got to do what works for them at that time I suppose.

I hope you all had a good Monday. It was a bit cooler and rainy today, but madly busy.
I had ordered some exterior paint via prime which is supposed to be delivered today, but tracking shows it’s been sent to Northern Ireland!! I doubt I’ll see it for a while, if ever! I’ll try and chase it tomorrow. It started off in England and got sent to the wrong country 🤷🏻‍♀️
We’ve had someone come out to quote for the porch roof reroofing today, it’s a flat roof and is very elderly and I’ve been worried about the ceiling bowing. It also goes black and takes a lot of scrubbing, so it would be nice to stop that if possible. It’s a fair size, so I’m keeping everything crossed it’s reasonable.
We’ve also called the window company about a couple of windows that have condensation between the panes. It’s just coming up to the end of the 10 yr warranty so it made sense to have a good look around. They are sending someone out to have a look.

We’ll look at me, late again!
The window people came and took pictures of the faults for the warranty. Typically the condensation in between the glass wasn’t showing in the nice weather, but we’d already sent pictures. They took measurements and will be in touch, so fingers crossed.
The quote for the porch roof came in at just under £2k which is a lot better than I expected. It will be worth it to be water tight and insulated for winter.
The paint is still enjoying its holiday in Ireland and marked as delayed 🤭
Work was nonstop so it was lucky MrWW was at home to let window people in.
    I hope you’ve all had a good day 🌞

Good morning and happy Wednesday 🌞
it feels a bit cooler today. My big news is I finally dropped into the next pound bracket, so less than a stone left to my target.
I was looking through my Nancy birtwhistle books and wrote a shopping list of the things I need for staple green cleaning. On line the list came to over £70 🤯. I still have plenty of ‘bad’ cleaning sprays in the cupboard so may get bits a few at a time, or splash out with next months spending money when we get there. I do like the idea of it….but cleaning in general, not so much 🤭
Work will be mad again today and there is a lovely 2 hour call I’m not looking forward to, but I’m off Friday, so it’s not as long a week this week.
I hope you all have a lovely day 🌞☕️☕️

Yay for the weight loss and thumbs down to the work call. I'd just get a bit of the cleaning stuff at a time. When someone invents a cleaning product that jumps out of the bottle by itself and does the cleaning for me I'm in (thinking maybe a genie from a lamp but he appears with a duster in one hand and the spray bottle in the other).

I'm trying to make sure everything is organised for at least the next week when moving around will probably be a bit difficult. I don't have very high expectations of being "looked after" by the HT 🤣

Good luck @CRANKY40 !! I hope it all goes super smooth.

Amazing weight loss WW, you've been very determined 💪🏻

Did you see Dr van Tulleken on Channel4 talking about UPF again? Apparently he wrote a book too. There's a video on youtube I'm half way through watching, one thing he said that stood out was that food companies make this cheap bad addictive food for economic growth and profit, and the policy makers, even medical professionals, are so deep into it, friends 💰 with lobbyist and funded by them, so it's unlikely food will become as regulated as it should. So sad. I had to stop watching when he started talking about solutions, but I really can't see this changing anytime soon.

@CRANKY40 I have everything crossed for you.
@jokono I didn’t, I’ll see if I can find it on catch up. It always seems to boil down to money 😖
