I’ll dust off my headscarf @CRANKY40, I may as well dress for the peasant life 😅
MrWW has had an issue and went to a&e, who referred him to a local specialist. They then decided it’s a hospital check needed, but that is a good 5 hr round trip plus appointment time. He has to wait until a call tomorrow to find out if he can drive himself. If not then it’s going to be a problem as I’ll have to leave a mandatory training session at work and bundle dog into the car for a road trip even though it’s hit and miss if she’ll get in. I really shouldn’t be mean, but he loves a medical issue and seems to have a new one every 6 months or so.
But in good news…my wine was delivered today 🤣
Work was incredibly busy, I ended up doing 7.45 to 5pm. Not helpful as I’m 18hrs up at the moment, but plenty for an unwanted road trip 😖

I forgot to say I booked my car for its mot, service and repair next month. I asked for a quote so I have an idea of how much I need. He rang back with the price and was very apologetic, when he estimated around £460, but I was actually relieved 🤭 it’s cost so much this year that anything under £800 felt like a win! So fingers crossed it doesn’t kick up anything else on the mot and I’ll be fairly relaxed about that bill. I have £140 back in my car pot towards it.

Good news about the car! I'm crossing my fingers Mr WW can drive himself.

Hope Mr WW is ok.  I always consider a car bill less than £500 a win.

Good morning and happy Wednesday 🌞
@milann are you sure you don’t need that beauty bag??
MrWW has an appointment today. I rejigged all my meetings, booked the day, got all dogs bowl, water, treats packed up and then MrWW decided it would just be too hot for her to be in the car all day and has gone alone. Fingers crossed he can drive back ok. I had gone through all the worry of stepping out of work things, anticipating everything she’d need, losing sleep over parking, where we would wait, if I’d get lost (I like to know exactly where I’m going 😅) and then it was all change! I did log on to work to see if I was needed, but my mngr has an out of office on and nothing looked worrying so I tiptoed back out. I was 20 hrs up, so it’s a good way to get them manageable again, although I do feel like I should be there now. Anyhow dog is panting and moaning so I’ll spend some time outside letting her cool back down.
I’m not good with change, so the unplanning was quite as stressful as the planning 🤭
@jwil I agree with you there. We get so used to rolling with the car bill punches.

Thank you @beanielou, he is back, but waiting for results now.
what a boiling hot day it’s been! Utterly baking! I’m quite frazzled. Dog kept wanting to go out, but then it’s too hot so I have to tempt her back in. I got bitten by a midge at 10am so have had to have sleeves on for the other frequent trips. Too hot…moan, moan 🤣 I’m too podgy for this weather 😅
I seem to have wasted my day doing not very much, so I am celebrating with a rare glass of wine 🍷
I hope none of my friends and readers have melted! 🌞
