I found that even though I rinsed out the cat food pouches they smelled awful after a few days especially in the summer. 

I’ve noticed a lot of shops now sell things made from recycled plastic but I guess this is then the end of the road as what happens to that product 🤔 Now I’m thinking too much 😆

Interesting point SA…are recycled plastics still recyclable? I know tin goes around forever.
Steven seagull has banged on the window and yelled for food 4 times today. He has had every unappealing, unappetising and dodgy date item in the house. I don’t know what I’ll have for him tomorrow 😖 I think this is his third summer of begging and demanding food.

I think you need to adapt your pet food budget to include seagull food. 🤣

Plastic will recycle a couple of times but loses quality so needs to be topped up with virgin plastic.  It's more often downcycled into things like pipes and benches, which are ok, but then are unlikely to be recycled.  Aluminium and glass are infinitely recyclable.

It’s been so hot here today. I scrubbed the porch from top to bottom so got plenty of steps clocked up. There are a lot of windows, so cleaning those and de-cat furring the curtains was fun. One of the cats chooses that room as his bedroom so there are scratching posts, food and litter boxes in there. He does come out and about, but stays there if he’s unsupervised as he avoids fights with the head bully boy. Dog was hot so had rather a lot of short trips into the garden. I had quite a spendy day ordering birthday presents, but then MrWW sent me it back, so that was lovely. I also gave in and ordered the M&S beauty bag offer I’ve been eyeing up. I bought a blouse so I could get the offer.

I bought Mr SA two new bath towels so I could get the M&S beauty bag. He desperately needed them and the beauty bag is brilliant, well worth it.

I googled it and then got sucked down a rabbit hole of what I might buy to get it.  Eventually saw sense and figured I wouldn't use half of it, and didn't need anything!
