Good morning and happy Friday. ☀️🌞🍩
A small cat is destroying my office, clambering over things and bouncing off the walls as the sun is reflecting off my iPad 😖 He is highly invested in killing the sunbeam 🙄
Steven seagull is back for the season and was banging on the kitchen window and shouting at 6am! He was shouting yesterday too … all afternoon. He’s like a bottomless pit and I’m running out of old and unfanciable food to throw him 🤭
Today I’m going to bite the bullet and try and detangle myself from a ‘voluntary’ role at work as I really don’t have time. I don’t have time for the real jobs let alone the extras, but it’s very hard to say no 😖
In money news the pb’s didn’t give me a million..or even a measly £25 😢
In tales from the scales…I jumped back up the half a pound I’d just lost and am now teetering on the edge of the pound I lost, I do not want to lose that badge! I put it down to the weight of the small portion of pasta I ate yesterday and hopefully it will go off again tomorrow (or I’ll have a paddy🤣)

I have two voluntary roles at work, it’s a struggle to fit them in with real work. I’m terrible for volunteering especially if I think no one else will do it if I don’t.

This is exactly me! The only way I can justify stepping away from this one is that quite a few people joined recently. I hate leaving people in the lurch, but voluntary and ‘extra’ jobs can really eat up your day.

Oh, maybe that was me when younger. What kind of roles?

Equality Diversity and Inclusion, which is really worthwhile but time consuming.

Happy Saturday ☕️ The sun has deserted us here so I’ve had to put the drier on! 

I’m a bit meh today as I’m hanging around the house on my own with absolutely no idea what to do…I’m not feeling it for the housework 😬
I ended up spending an extra £56 on bulk treats for the hound, but took everything else out of my virtual basket. Saintly! I need to make sure I don’t spend all my available spends before the first week is out, it’s very hard.
