Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️☕️
It’s wild here today, really, really windy and rainy.
My 5lb badge came back this morning…woohoo. Now I need my 6lb badge before this one flits off again 🤭
I have a ‘bung everything in’ chicken stew in the slow cooker today so I feel very organised. I have a very cheap and cheerful dumpling mix to make up in the last stages. 

I’m determined to squeeze in the latest happy valley episode at lunchtime today.

Well done on your badge coming back. I've started seriously today (the HT wanted a takeaway to "celebrate" my last wages and it fed us both for 2 nights). I'm going to carry on with the sit ups too just in case it improves my shape and fitness levels. 

It's very windy here  - you can guarantee that if there's a high wind it will be on the day that recycling rubbish is collected so bins blow over and there's plastic bottles, cans and bits of cardboard racing each other down the road. I am home alone until I have to collect the House Troll at 2pm so I'm going to do some cleaning while he isn't here to follow behind me and mess it up.....

Thanks cranky. Good luck, the first few days are the hardest. It really helps to whinge on here about the starvation and lack of progress 🤣
I was trying to work out the calories for a small portion of chicken stew and dumplings. I had to track each ingredient separately and guess the weight, so who knows how close I’ll really be! I’ll just try and be sensible and not overdo it.

I have just had a highlights hot chocolate to stop me going out buying chocolate and biscuits and lots of other things.
