Think there must be more than 1 Yahtzee app. Mine doesn’t have a treasure map.
Oh! Mine is called Yahtzee with Buddies. Maybe we need to get them all? The treasure thing is called treasure hunt and it runs for a limited time and then after a few days seems to start again.

Morning WW and happy New Year’s Eve to you too 🥂

When I used to go to exercise and WW classes in real life pre-pandemic I used to see it every January. Queues out of the door for WW and packed exercise classes. Everyone full of enthusiasm. By February we’d be back to the old faithfuls who stick at it all year round 🤣 The same applies to the diaries on here.

I don’t make resolutions as such as I have more success when I randomly do something in the middle of the year but it’s a good time to think about goals and reset.

  • I have updated my signature with the quantifiable 2023 goals and have included my January pay shuffle (which I didn’t include in my year end 22 savings increase total). I think having them here as a reminder will help. My January savings are ambitious, but I won’t pull any back, barring emergencies (I will not! No, no, no!) After accounting for all bills, fuel, my annual Prime fee, and a birthday it leaves me with £91 for variable spending plus £76 still left on my Amzn gift vouchers from Christmas, so perfectly doable if I’m sensible!
I think February will be a much reduced savings amount as I’m expecting to have to buy another 500l of heating oil, either that month or March at a stretch. I won’t regret this though, as it’s snowing outside and I want the heating on 😁❄️❄️

I’m not surprised you want heating in the snow. We’ve just got damp drizzle…..which is miserable and grey. I’d half hoped for a walk but it isn’t enticing me out there.

  • Happy New Year 🥳
I slept through it, but was up at 7am as MrWW had gone to work and dog wanted to go play in the snow. It’s got a crisp ice crust on it, so really crunchy and she ‘needed’ to roll on it in many spots for what felt like half an hour, before treating me to two dumps to pick up and agreeing to come back inside for breakfast 🤣
I have put some diced steak, onions and carrots in the slow cooker and taken out some ready to roll pastry from the freezer, so I can make a very easy pie for tea (or stew with a top as I’m not sure I have the will to do a bottom layer and blind bake it 😬). I may do roast potatoes, or may just bung in some chips. I’ll see how I feel later 😁
I ruined a good calorie day yesterday by having 5 roses and then a slab of Yule log and double cream 🙄. I did feel much too full after the log, I don’t know why I didn’t just have a slither. I’ll not do that again.
Yesterday I did some decluttering of my office, but still have a lot to do in there, so I’ll have another go today. I really need a skip and a work crew to get it anything like it should be, but hopefully little and often will get there in the end. It doesn’t help that every time I open the cupboard several cats climb in! It’s only a tiny room, but has become a dumping ground 😖 The carpet is threadbare and likes to break vacuums. It wouldn’t cost too much to replace, but the effort of squeezing 2 large desks and all the assorted stuff out of the room has stopped me from contemplating it, so the first job is to clear as much as possible. It really is the worst room in the house, which is sad as I have to spend so much time in there.
I hope you all have some nice plans for your day ☕️❄️
