I’ve a ninja 15 in 1 and it’s hit a dehydrator setting on it, I’ve dried strawberries in it up to now, I love the machine itself, though still got lots of things to try 🤣. I’ve used the pressure cooker, the I’ve , the air fryer and the dehydrator bit ….. I asked for amazon vouchers from everyone at Xmas to buy it.Sealed pot challenge 822

I had the Lakeland dehydrator, hard work getting things to dry evenly. I rehomed mine in the end.
I do make beef jerky/biltong every now and then but I use the oven when it is on for something else. Dried apple is lovely too but I remain unconvinced that it is an economy activity for me.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Good morning and happy Monday ☕️☕️☕️☕️I hope you are all well.
Yesterday I took dog for her drive and she smelled all the smells through the open window. Did some cleaning and some cooking and sat in the garden for a while in the sunshine.Payday is on Thursday this week. I will do my run down as not much should change.
The good - savings are up by £600
The bad - I had to pay out over £500 this month on the minimum amount of heating oil 😖
The ugly - Not much really! I could have been meaner and saved a little bit more, but at this stage a few treats don’t hurt. I don’t have any debt apart from the mortgage and, although I really will need some hefty savings to replace my car in 3 or 4 years, I should be ok as long as nothing dire happens (touch wood).
Next month I have my car service and mot, which I have sinking funds for. If it behaves and nothing big needs doing, that shouldn’t stop any saving. If something big did need doing I would hope to cover it without going backwards at least, but it’s still always a worry until you know. Towards the end of the month we have an at home holiday with rellys, so some money will need to be factored in for that.So overall, not a bad month, despite the big bill and the outlook for July isn’t horrible!
I hope you have a fabulous day full of happiness and sunshine 🌞🍦☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Amazing @WinterWarrior! £600! I'm in awe...
Haven't done my sums yet but savings have been paltry. Just spent the weekend camping in Suffolk with 8yo. That polished off a spendy month. Bit concerned July looks similar too. There's just so much to do in the warmer months!1 -
