Thanks everyone. @elbree camping and time out with yr 8yo is important too. I look back with so much nostalgia and fondness for our budget family holidays from when I was young. We always had the nail biting ‘will the car make it?’ excitement thrown in 😁
@beanielou it’s all relative though. We all do the best we can with the hands we are dealt and sometimes it really is one step forward and 2 steps back. But we are all on here plodding away in the right direction and you do amazingly well. And look at you…mortgage free!!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

You're so right about things being relative to what money you have. I always seem to manage better when I haven't got as much as I think I get a bit more 'flamboyant' when I have more, and that's what gets me in trouble !

Good morning and happy Tuesday ☕️☕️☕️Just ticking along until pay day here. Then I’ll have the nail biting mot and service and then I can relax once I know what has been spent and what’s left. I’d be all for changing the mot’s to every 2 years. If something feels wrong then it gets fixed, if the tyres look low, they get replaced, it really doesn’t need such a regular check. I wonder when the fuel will stop going up? You’d think it would have to settle somewhere. The sun isn’t shining today, but it feels muggy. Steven seagull now knocks on the kitchen window instead of the utility..first banging and shouting was at 6.30! He has knocked 3 times since. He’s had leftover cat food and some dodgy unbaked part baked roll that had been in the freezer too long and defrosted a bit weird. He’s not fussy, I’ll give him that!I hope you all have a wonderful day ☕️📚🍦🧁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️📚🧁
Payday eve!
Nothing doing here apart from work. Steven seagull was knocking at 6.30am again…he knows the old pet food doesn’t go out until after 7am..he’s a pest. 🐦
I hope you all have a lovely day filled with happiness and chocolate 😁☕️🍫Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Pay day for me as well!!
I don't know whether I could cope with Steven the seagull that early, the 'not my cat' is bad enough but at least he waits outside until he sees movement, and he's lost his loud meow now so if I'm not in the mood at least I can pretend I haven't seen him

Happy payday 😁 I have shuffled the money and my pb savings are at 27.75% and my car fund is at 28.5%.
I have a bit of birthday money to spend in July, so that will be nice 😁
Steven seagull has already called twice!
I have a tub of mini snowballs on my desk and all is fairly ok with the WW world 🍫
I hope you all have a happy and fabulous Thursday, filled with all the good things you deserve ☕️🍫🧁📚
