Unfortunately I woke to a power cut…so no coffee 😢 and I’m undecided about going shopping in case the freezer is still off when I get back. Typical! I also can’t do the work thing until it’s on.

I didn’t get coffee until 2pm @jokono 😮 I did get the Ldl shop and use the £10 voucher though. I can’t understand why it wasn’t any cheaper overall…side eyes the creme brûlée and wine…
I was hoping to find some buns I once had from the frozen section..I’m sure it was Spanish week, but none to be seen, so maybe not. It was a pack of 4 like choux pastry and a creamy/custard filling. They were so handy to have in the freezer and weren’t too big. I know I didn’t dream them 🤣 I’ve been waiting for Spanish week in hopeful anticipation too😢
Other than that, I did the work thing and some cleaning and I’ve had enough now.

WinterWarrior - I never have 'soft' biscuits here, unless they're supposed to be, but there again I've never bulk bought any either, I'd eat them instead of meals 

If I go shopping at lids I go on a Tuesday after grandma duties and as its later (around 6:39 - 7pm) I'm usually that hungry I race around like a greyhound and only buy what's needed    well an old greyhound any way!!

Another one who never has soft biscuits. If I open a pack I some how seem to eat the lot!!  Weren’t the crème buns in French week?  I’ve not had them but something rings a bell about them being French!!  Glad you managed to survive the day without coffee bet it was hard going 😱😱 xx

sunny here today! The midges were biting first thing, but it seems breezy now, which blows them away.

I was going to say that the buns sound more French than Spanish so looks like you'll have to wait until French week comes around again!

I don't buy many biscuits so I tend to stick to the Biscoff ones which are wrapped in little packets of 2 so that I don't eat a whole packet at once - well only a mini packet!  And of course they're very MSE at only £1 a pack in £land!
