Sun_Addict said:A lot of it is down to genes and skin type. My oily skin was the bane of my life as a teenager but I’m reaping the benefits now. I haven’t heard of that skin care brand and I have a monthly beauty box which contains some pretty obscure brands. I’ve also been a product tester for The Beauty Bible. At the end of the day the main thing is to cleanse, moisturise and drink plenty of water, it doesn’t matter how much you spend it’s consistency that counts. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I’m sure it’s partly down to genes. I only use micellar water on my face. Never use a moisturiser and very rarely wear make up. I’m 51 and don’t have any wrinkles yet!! I only drink water but only because I don’t actually like anything else (and I’m not allowed to drink cocktails at work 🤣🤣) so that might help. Over the last few months I’ve noticed the odd grey hair starting to appear which I’m not too happy about but not enough to have to dye it yet. My mums 78 this year and has very few grey hairs. My grandad was in his 90s when he died without a grey hair in sight!! Sorry I know we weren’t talking about grey hair went off on a tangent there a bit 🤣🤣🤣 xxslowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T3

I do drink loads of water and just use baby lotion as a moisturiser in the hope it will make my skin look like a baby's! It's cheap, you can buy massive bottles and I don't notice any difference from more expensive brands."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

Good morning and happy Saturday 📚☕️🍫
Same age as me @southern_chick, but I have lots of grey! I’ve been growing it out for a couple of years as I got so tired of colouring it. I’m actually quite at peace with the witchy stripey look and wish I hadn’t fought it for so long. I take my water in copious amounts of coffee…I know, I know! You are all so good!Today will be food shopping and a spot of cleaning..I’m not sure what else.
I hope you all have a stupendous Saturday ☕️📚🍫🧁🌞Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

My Saturday will consist of lunch with friends and there will be cocktails so not quite so much water drunk today although I might need some when I get home. Lunch time drinking in the sun will probably make me thirsty lol. Have a good day everyone xxslowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T2

Happy Sunday 🧁🍫📚
A late check in for me. It’s been dank, drizzly and a bit cold today. I took dog for her drive and then MrWW and I watched the new Batman. MrWW isn’t a Robert P fan, but I like him as I am never too old for a Twilight marathon rerun 😬. Anyhow, I think he did very well. We both thought it was a bit slow in parts, but ok overall. I think the director was so busy channeling the darkness of his version that he forgot to keep the action moving at times.I ordered a few household bits from Amazon, but don’t count it as a spend as they are refunding me for the elephant dress, so it’s already covered.I hope you are all having a good weekend ☕️🍷🍺Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
