that's very dedicated of youI ate well during veganuary
i am veggie too. It was partly to challenge myself but mainly to make myself eat less cheese. I love cheese but i can easily eat it every day. My work involves lots of evening meetings so it is hard to have a routine and i often snack on toast and cheese on toast rather than eat proper meals. Doing veganuary made me be a little more organised and i tried out a few new recipes - not as many as i hoped but I will eat more vegan meals this year and i have a good cookbook which i was looking through earlier today!

@Deni_debt-free_dreamer I have exactly the same problem - I could exist permanently on toasted cheese and gluten free bread, with the odd tomato to stop scurvy setting in. Did you find any interesting vegan cheeses last month? They all seem so tasteless-Credit card One :£926.60( Oct 21 )(Nov 21 vet bill disaster), £999(Jan 22), £974(Feb 22)

No! But i didn't bother, DD2 eats vegan cheese and i have tried the grated stuff; it's ok but i'd rather wait and have the real thing. I was just thinking i might do a few more vegan months as it made me eat much better and i didn't eat any chocolate - i tried some vegan stuff which was gross and i got given some vegan choc covered honeycomb which was lovely but it's from a zero waste shop and expensive. I love those naked bars - the cacao and orange flavour or peanut butter ones. I was also far too excited than i should've been to find that peanut butter and puff pastry can be vegan - deep joy
@WinterWarrior - are you allowing yourself treats and what are they?LBM - October 2018; finally debt free on 16 March 2021

For those interested in trying vegan I can highly recommend the Deliciously Ella app and cookbooks. A lot of her recipes are gluten free too.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I am calorie counting @Deni_debt-free_dreamer so will be having the odd treat from my Christmas stash as long as I have calories left. I aim for between 1200 and 1400 and don’t count coffee or tea as it’s only a bit of skimmed milk that has calories. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Monday ☕️📚☕️I’m late as I’m lacking the chocolate energy clearly!! I tried an overnight oats for breakfast which was claggy and not as nice as I expected 😖 hot porridge is much better. My new Fitbit should arrive today (present from MrWW), so I’ll be able to be ashamed of my step count again after a weeks break when my last ones screen got so dim it was unreadable.I hope you all have a happy Valentine’s Day ♥️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@WinterWarrior - I found overnight oats to be a bit claggy too so now I add extra yoghurt and it's quite good. Also means it's ready to eat as soon as you want it rather than having to wait for porridge to cook!
