Good morning and happy Tuesday ☕️☕️☕️☕️ (So much coffee needed today).
So happy payday 🎉…how lovely it was to see it sitting there for those brief happy moments…sigh. Ah well, east come, easy go, the money shuffle has been done. £500 moved straight to pb’s and small amounts into all the pots, then a pay back of some of the bad, bad November spending (although I’ll need to make sure I don’t borrow any back and still need to add £300 more from next month to get back to pre Christmas present levels 😖). I am left with enough for all dd’s, a birthday present, one small Christmas present, a meal out fund and a splurge on Christmas Lidl food fund, the pet food has already been purchased, some yummy fentimans pop in several flavours for our monthly treat and I am left with a healthy £100 for anything else. I could have added that back to savings, but leaving myself with nothing for 4 weeks is a recipe for disaster! 

At the moment I am counting my pots in with my savings totals, when really they should be outside of them….this is because I don’t want to see the drop. Once I get my savings back to where they should be I will be able to exclude the pots without having a good cry 😬

So, onwards and upwards! I thought yesterday was going to be a horrible day at work, but I got a lot more done than I expected, so that was good.

Happy payday 😁 I even had a message on my phone from the bank saying happy payday 😆 The money shuffle took me less than 10 minutes so in theory it's all accounted for now.

Happy Tuesday WW and happy payday, 20 days till mine.  All bills paid but i need to buy some presents!  My Monday didn't involve any unicorns only hot water bottles, a motorway journey to the office and an evening meeting!  Tuesday is WfH so a better day

i didn't think i'd like WfH but i really do! Have to go into the office one day a week/for all meetings but that is ok; hoping it doesn't increase to FT   It's an hour each way and i'm used to having those hours back now and enjoying spending less on petrol plus the environmental benefits !

Well…the boiler bill arrived today. They are normally really slow and I thought it wouldn’t land for a few months, but they must have seen an easy mark for some spending money for Christmas. £620 😖 they told MrWW it wouldn’t be anywhere near the £500 insurance excess, so we were expecting it to be a lot less. We managed to pull some together, but I’ve had to take back some from the savings that I’d only just paid back this morning…sigh! So although I’ve paid some savings back, it’s now not nearly as much as I’d planned. 

I think I may need wine with my tea! ☹️
