It was a bit of a shock @beanielou 😖
@Baileys_Babe that’s very true! It could have been worse and at least we have hot water now it’s fixed. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️🍫📚 Advent calendar day 🎅🏻🎄
I am declaring my first NSD today. I will need to be very good because of the bill (grumble, grumble 😬)
Friday will be a spend day as I have it booked off for posting presents, having a meal out and getting some Christmas treats in from Lidl. So I will try to have an NSD today and tomorrow.
So nothing exciting planned for today apart from work.Does anyone watch Richard Osman’s house of games? This week AJ, the dancer from previous strictlys, is on..it turns out he’s just a lovely muppet 😬 He’s very sweet, but consistently last.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday with no bills (not bitter 🤣) and lots of lovely things ☕️📚🍫🎄Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy December 🎄
Friday sounds like it's going to be a lovely day.
I don't watch House of Games, I had to think of who you meant by AJ, I was thinking of the female one from this year's Strictly, but I know who you mean now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
MrM and I are avid House of Games fans but very behind! We've just watched the week Bill Turnbull was on and was very disappointed with his personal character. Came across as an a**e. I used to like him on BBC breakfast.
Sad news about the big bill but as @Baileys_Babe said, you had the money so didn't need to borrow (apart from yourself!).Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again1 -

And yes to the bill, it’s just I got sad about doing the money shuffle first thing and by lunchtime I was having to shuffle it back 😫 a world record in the briefest of savings! My account barely sniffed it!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Oooo I am feeling a but ouchy at that bill, have you got your breath back yet? But as I am learning most important thing is you didn't get back into debt, makes me realise my emergency fund is all the more important.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

Good morning and happy Thursday 🍫☕️📚🎄
Today is my Friday 🥳. Sadly I have a late meeting so it will be a long day, but then a lovely day off. I think the boxes I have to post tomorrow may be quite pricey as they are heavy and I’ll need to insure them, but the brownie sundae should take the sting off it 😁
I’m hoping for an nsd today. I need to order a birthday present, but I’ll hang on and do it tomorrow on the spendy day.
I hope you all have a tremendous Thursday filled with coffee and chocolate and the magic of Christmas 🎅🏻🎄☕️🍫
Edit to add that I have shuffled £5 into the Christmas 22 pot and Tilly tidied £5.72 to the mortgage this morning. A drop in the ocean and I may regret it later in the month, but I’m determined to manage on what I have left after my treat Friday…which may not be very much, but I’ll have nothing I need to get!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
